PlayStation Remote Play app gets renamed to chiaki-ng (chiaki-next-generation)
30 July 2024 at 9:55 pm UTC

Oh neat, I didn't realise it was a continuation of Chiaki, I thought it was just a flatpakification of the original Chiaki.

Unfortunately all I get from a local build of it is a garbled mess of pixels. Maybe I'm missing something from my build environment or something. The original works fine, however.

EDIT: Seems to be a regression in vulkan-radeon (24.1.2 works fine, >=24.1.3 exhibits this behaviour). Will have to see if I can bisect that when I get chance.

Packaged for the AUR: chiaki-ng | chiaki-ng-git

Indeed, although it feels long ago, 2023 was only last year.

I don't think I've ever seen the survey pop up on Steam Deck. Does it appear in Big Picture mode or does it only show up if you switch to Desktop mode?

I suppose if I were a MacOS user I, too, might be driven to Whisky.
I have to use a Mac for work, and it mostly drives me to rum and homebrew mead..
