Something is giving up the ghost in my PC. It's either the PSU, motherboard, or CPU, but even liveUSB sticks freeze during the boot process, sometimes with an MCE error. Occasionally I'll get booted into my Arch install but it'll freeze before I'm able to do anything productive (like open Steam and play some games...)

Long story short, I'm upgrading to a Ryzen 9 5950X just in time for the next survey. Bye bye, Intel...

'gaming laptop' is already an oxymoron, we're going to need a new descriptor for 'gaming chromebook'.

That and the weekend, probably. :)

I'm hoping it'll get fixed early this week, but if not, I'll be getting a refund.

EDIT: Still no response from the devs, refund requested.

EDIT2: Refund approved.

Once again I'm let down by Steam not letting me know that a game on my wishlist now has Linux support. Good thing GoL is always on the ball.

Further failure by Steam by being unable to add it game to my shopping cart.

Quote"SORRY, WE COULDN'T ADD YOUR ITEM!"

Thanks, Steam. Good job.

I guess I'll try again later.

Anyone else having issues with the "Steam Labs experiment 012" sales explorer not finding any results if they select Linux from the platform options?

Learn how locks really work in Sophie's Safecracking Simulator now on Steam

First impressions: the tutorial's really informative, although the camera controls aren't really fit for purpose and get in the way more often than not. I picked up the basics, with no prior interest in safe cracking, and was able to crack a 10-code lock within 30 minutes of playing (albeit with xray mode enabled). I now know more about combination locks than I ever thought I would, and getting me to learn something after work on a Friday evening is no small feat I tell you.
