Prison Architect - Going Green and The Glasshouse free update out now

Good news: you can still bypass the launcher by setting the launch options to

./PrisonArchitect.x86_64 %command%

Especially helpful if the launcher doesn't work on your system (it doesn't on mine since it depends on gtk3)

I think the question needs to be clearly worded so it doesn't get mistaken for a more generic "what browser do you use?" question.

e.g.

Quote"If you use web-based game streaming service(s), which browser do you primarily use for that?"
- Browser A
- Browser B
[...]
- I don't use web-based game streaming services

Happy to see Ubuntu continues to shed users and market share (down to 349 users/15.47%), presumably as stale PC reports are dropped. Also glad that Plasma seems to be increasing its slim lead over Gnome (currently ahead by 18 people).

AMD looks to increase it's lead over Intel in the CPU department (currently ahead by 49 people), while it still has some distance to go to overtake nVidia in the GPU department (nvidia ahead by 285 people). Also worth noting that the RX 5700 XT overtook the RX 580 last month to become the most used card (156 people using one).

Also interesting to see a small uptick in Wayland session users -- now over 100 people.

Hopefully some proper, non-VR games. Been a while since Valve put out anything I've been interested in buying.

KDE will hopefully have a 'Production-ready' Wayland session for Plasma in 2021

Quoting: aokamiI remember a short while ago looking into Wayland, wasn't Nvidia hindering Wayland adoption because of a few things they don't support in their drivers or things they did wrong ? Can't quite exactly remember what was it about (VA API or VDPAU ?)
Or is this completely irrelevant and speaking nonsense ?

You're probably thinking of EGLStreams: https://blog.martin-graesslin.com/blog/2016/09/to-eglstream-or-not/

However, EGLStreams support was added to Plasma already: https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=EGLStreams-Merged-KWin-5.16 so it should JustWork for nVidia driver users.

Last time I tried it, the only things that prevented me using it on a daily basis was 1) it was missing primary selection support, and 2) some windows (i.e. pop-ups) had window decorations when they shouldn't. If these are fixed, then I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

LTS, eh? It's off to a cracking start. :P

In case anyone did already update, you probably want to downgrade or jump to 5.10.1 ASAP.

Quoting: WorMzyI'll wait for a native port. If the devs don't support Linux, then I don't support the devs.

And that's how you don't get Linux on the desktop.

I already have Linux on the desktop. It's all I have on my desktop. I don't get your argument.

However, by buying a game that doesn't support Linux, you are sending the message to the dev that they don't need to support Linux to get your money. Why should that dev support Linux if you're going to give them money either way?
