How does that pertain to gaming? Unless there's a direct benefit to using one init over another in terms of e.g. gaming performance, I don't see why it'd be a useful metric to track here.

Quoting: GuestI have a Suggestion: How about a Section for the Init you use? Like systemd, openrc, runinit, s6...

Sail Forth looks pretty, but you can't re-map "Turn left", it becomes unbound. I spent many minutes sailing in circles trying to end up pointing the correct way.
Dev responded and pointed out the "Restore defaults" button which at least lets you reset to the default button. I had already worked around the problem in my own way and had some fun blowing up pirate ships and stealing treasure. :)

Starmancer appears to have a Linux demo, but it doesn't have sound and won't progress past a screen that says "#Header" after I input my name, so maybe that's a bit borked on Linux right now.

Personally I swing the other way. I should be prompted for admin credentials every time I do something outside the scope of a regular user.
I have timestamp_timeout=0 set in my sudoers defaults for this very reason. I also have targetpw set, because it shouldn't be my user password that unlocks admin mode.

Oooh, nice. I'm a big fan of Japanese onsen. We have a large collection of Japanese herbal bath salts, but they're a poor substitute for the real deal.

It seems there was plans to release on Linux: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1062830/discussions/0/2552901289723028722/
I wonder if that's changed now they've put it on Stadia, or if that was their Linux plan all along?

Shame they started depending on gtk3 for the launcher around September last year. Luckily I still had the last version that used gtk2 instead, and it continues to work fine.
