Graveyard Keeper - Stranger Sins expansion is out allowing you to build your own tavern

It definitely had that sort of vibe from the promotional material leading up to release, but it's never actually felt like Stardew (to me anyway). Farming is definitely not a focus of the game -- your involvement is literally just picking what seeds to plant, and then coming back once the crop is ready for harvest. You don't have to water the seeds/plants, and there's no seasons so you don't have to pick seeds based on that restriction/deal with dead crops. TBH I hardly touched farming until I needed to complete a certain questline, and since zombies got added, I've just turned it into a semi-automated money maker.

Quoting: 14I thought it was too much like Stardew Valley when the original game came out. Now, I feel like I need to get it.

Certainly seems like an odd bug, I wouldn't have thought the player name would be involved in any logic, that's what player/steam IDs are for.

Quoting: TheSHEEEP“layers can no longer avoid damage with an invalid player name”?
How did that even work?

Well, it is that time of year -- there's nothing quite like strolling through the golden fields of RAM, swaying in the breeze; selecting a particularly ripe CPU from the processor bushes before wandering over to the GPU orchards to harvest a nice fresh one (before the wasps get to them). I'd give it a few more weeks before digging up a new motherboard though, they're better after a good hard frost gets to them.

Quoting: SlackdogFunnily enough I've also just upgraded :)

I think you'd have to be very determined to misinterpret it like that. It seems very clear what that option is for. FWIW, back when the survey was a google form, there used to be more options for WM-only users, and it got pretty messy.
Personally, I think the architecture question could be retired given that a number of distros are dropping support for 32-bit and it's therefore unlikely to see a resurgence. The trend has been that ~99.8% (+/- 0.1%) of respondents are using 64-bit for as long as the charts stretch back. I'm not sure there's any value in continuing to measure that.

Quoting: Guestthe way it currently displays "Desktop Environment: Window Manager Only" makes it sound like there's a desktop environment out there called "Window Manager Only".

Boxtron, the Steam Play compatibility tool for DOSBox brings more improvements in another update

Well, to give an example from the changelog, Lords of the Realm wouldn't even launch with proton, presumably because it uses a wrapper rather than calling the Windows dosbox executable directly. It also ships with dosbox 0.74, but config files for dosbox 0.72, which caused some audio stuttering. In cases like this, telling Steam to open the game with Boxtron will make the game automagically Just Work™ (assuming you have dosbox installed).

Quoting: hardpenguinPerformance is not an issue in majority of DOSBox titles on modern systems. What can native DOSBox possibly offer me opposed to DOSBox in Wine/Proton?

In any case, these games are great fun when it comes to mandatory family spending-time-together time, like Christmas and new year. ^_^

Nice!
I wonder if I can find the exact same DOS chess game I used to play on my primary school's PCs ~20 years ago and get a nostalgia hit from it.
