Sounds (and looks) like it's a simplified Dwarf Fortress. Good luck to them.

Really excited about the new cooking mechanics! Gonna have to replay this again soon. Maybe I'll actually be able to complete one of the missions this time. (spoiler: I won't)

I hope the updated user interface uses qt5, and not gtk3. That is, assuming they use a different toolkit to gtk2.
