Quoting: whizseIn this case I think it refers to the new experimental WoW64 mode. So no changes unless you build Wine with --enable-archs which isn't used by default yet, I think.

in good news at least compiling bi-arch is possible now in my case:

./configure --enable-archs=i386,x86_64

and works curiously dont show icons in folders on appetizer

32bits app

64bits app

almost forget using this method wine binaries are installed in usr/local/bin and wine64 dont stay anymore, only wine and run both apps 32bit and 64bits

this wine version have various things can affect dxvk for example

Quotewinevulkan: Update to VK spec version 1.3.254.

https://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/7eb75124e74804f56813ef371193d0db97e12e9c

before enable VK_EXT_depth_bias_control and now with last oibaf mesa drivers anv and radv have support

in my case with anv

this apply to dx9 titles

stay related to this

https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/pull/3501

this affect some DX9 titles like: Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (shadows) - FarCry 2 (character) - FEAR (some transparency effects) - The Saboteur (texture flickering) maybe others

almost forget wine staging 8.10 in my case dont begin in virtual desktop but wine 8.11 in virtual desktop work ok

Quote[0625/075106.289:ERRORplatform_font_skia.cc(343)] Could not find any font: Tahoma, sans. Falling back to the def
ault

also staging 8.11 still crashing in my case like 8.10 with same error

QuoteError: Can't create window of class wxWindowClassNR

But seriously, maybe you mean something else by "more gamepad friendly"... as "Improved Gamepad UI" is planned for the 1.7.0 release, so you'll have to wait a bit longer I think, to have the best experience.

Very interesting but personally stay more interested on this cited for 1.7.0:
