Sorry, I also used the w/o of G2A just to get these 3 games.
In Ubuntu 19.04 they did not start from Steam.
Went to the game's local files to run ./dosbox.sh in a terminal
Missing libpng12.so.0
Tried a symbolic link to the newer version but it still it complained about the libpng version.
So I installed dosbox
Tried just the command from the games dosbox.sh script :
dosbox -conf ../dosbox_lionking.conf -conf ../dosbox_lionking_single.conf -noconsole -c exit
It worked great but on game exit the screen resolution stayed as the game's resolution and needed to run "Displays" to revert back.
Also in the script I commented out (not sure if it was the right thing) :
#export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=libs
This allowed Steam to launch the game with the new dosbox, but still has the exit to resolution problem.
Any ideas what I need to do get the the resolution to drop back to 1920x1080 ?
Thanks

No Steam gaming for me this week end, I cannot get the Steam client to start.
"Could not connect to steam network"
On Thursday I installed a new router so I assumed it was related, tried a different internet, even Hotspot from my phone.
I tried a few workarounds , including steam --tcp but no luck.
Tested on my wife's Ubuntu laptop that had not been updated for about a month and the Steam client started fine.
I did find this :
Steam does not connect on kernels newer than 2019-06-17 #6326
I'm expecting there to be a kernel patch soon.
[Edit]
Ubuntu 19.04 There was a kernel update , I can connect to Steam again.

Tried Far Cry 3
Initially Uplay works ok but the game started with a black screen.
So I killed everything and tried again and in Uplay I disabled the "In game overlay", then the game played great.
The only glitch was exiting the game. "Exit to desktop" resulted in a game screen freeze / hang, needed to kill the game process and exit Uplay.
I will need to test this again.

Good article, nice discount with a steam key too. Plays nice and draws you in to the game pretty quickly.
In "Options", the setting separately of the X and Y resolution was different, I expected a drop down list.
No issues or errors so far on Ubuntu 18.04 with nvidia.
