End of month reminder: Please support me on Patreon
28 March 2016 at 11:25 am UTC Likes: 1

Hi, Liam. If I remember correctly, you said that you are doing this to see if it is actually viable to run this website as a full time job. Now that the month is coming to an end, what are your thoughts? Is it going according to your expectations?

And a practical question, how do your rewards on Patreon work? How do you know it is the same person on both websites?

I think you are doing an awesome and unique job, and I wish you best of luck. I highly recommend everybody to support you.

A new Steam Client Beta adds new Steam Controller features

Steam Controller is amazing. It is a new kind of input and takes some practice to master. But I am now over the initial learning threshold, using it for all my gaming, and am not even considering going back to mouse and keyboard. I still do have a keyboard plugged in just in case I need to type something in a terminal, check mail or whatever, but have not touched it in an actual game in a while.

I love zombie shooter games. Can never have too many of them. It's kind of pathological, but I just need more. :)

Quoting: Mountain Man
Quoting: LinasI wonder if they have source code for the Linux beta version that was published by icculus, if I am not mistaken? It was actually quite close to being finished, and ran mostly ok.
Keep in mind that only the source code has been released into public domain. Art assets and the Serious Sam IP have not.

Yes, I realise that. I do have the games on CD's. That's how I ran the Linux betas back in the day.

This is fakin awesome! I love the old Serious Sam games, and if somebody clever enough is willing to make a Linux version, I am all for it. I wonder if they have source code for the Linux beta version that was published by icculus, if I am not mistaken? It was actually quite close to being finished, and ran mostly ok.

Small thing. The text next to the Patreon logo goes over the bounds when very narrow. Like on my Android phone.
