The Entroware 'Proteus' Gaming Laptop, Reviewed For Linux
10 March 2015 at 8:06 pm UTC

Quoting: peteSounds similar to the problem I had, but with Schenker XMG P502 PRO (Clevo P150EM) and a Nvidia 670MX. From one day to another nvidia stoped working.
Took me some messing around with it...

This is how I got it back up:
- use the xorg edgers ppa
- install nvidia-340 (the others like 346 didn't work)
- deaktivate xorg edgers ppa (so no new updates can mess things up)
- install primusrun from git (to get Metro Redux working)

I hope I didn't forget anything, really took some time...
Thanks for the tip, I will try it next week, because I'm traveling this week. But I'm using the nvidia-340, I guess the only difference is deactivating the ppa.
The primusrun is only for the Metro Redux?

I have the same machine: Clevo W230SS (i7-4710MQ 2.5GHz 6MB though) and in the last month Nvidia stoped working for me. I'm also using prime. It was working fine until about a month and a half ago. Which NVIDIA driver are you guys using?
I was in Ubuntu 14.04 and now with Ubuntu 14.10 and the problem is there in both.
Before this problem I was really happy with it! It is a powerful beast.

Interview With Artifex Mundi, Publisher Of Casual Adventure Games, We Have Keys For You

The first Nightmares of the Deep was the first HOPA I played. I didn't even know this was a genre on its on, I just pick it up based on good reviews of it in Linux. The best thing about it its that time flies by quite fast while you are easily going through an easy going story and enjoying some minigames challenges. Enjoyable is the key element...

Quoting: fleskHave you played the Hexcells games? They're a bit like Minesweeper but they don't require guessing and are hand-crafted, so they make for a much more interesting experience.

Hexcells are great games!

It should be games nominated by the editors and there should be some categories.
The main rule should be that they were released for Linux on that year. (no early access, no always the same games year after year)

GOG & Steam Both Hit Milestones For Linux Games

So many games!
A dream and a nightmare all in one.

I'm playing the Witcher 2 also without much trouble and I just got started on Shadowrun: Dragonfall, after finishing the base game and a very good user created adventure.
I'm slowly going through the classics Portal 2 and Half-life 2 but I'm a slow player without so much time for it.

What I'm really missing are the Telltale titles.
Was there any hint that they would be bringing them to Linux? They have a couple released for Android...
