Sandbox Game Maker Coming Soon To Steam
23 July 2014 at 10:47 am UTC

seems a very descent engine...

I am thinking to start exploring game engines on my vacation and to try to make at least a very tiny game.
what game engine would you recommend for amateurs to make a descent looking game in Linux ?

Unity?
Leadwerks?

anything else that doesn't require much of coding...??

Among The Sleep Developers Are Now Working On A Linux Fix
14 July 2014 at 12:43 pm UTC

I havent purchased this game yet, not because of its bugs, but because they have said in the forums that this game was a bit short, like 1-2 hours playtime and it was not worth the 20 euros.

And now with the bugs...ehmmm....I think I will wait until the Steam Winter Sales :D

GOL Asks: What Have You Been Playing Recently?
13 July 2014 at 12:26 pm UTC

Recently I am playing Hand of Fate , very nice game... :)

To be honest I am getting easily bored by games , I cant play a game more than 30-1h.
I like games that put you straight to battle, I hate bla bla games , with a lot of story and do that, do this, go there, speak to this guy....QUESTS and especially grinding games!

I have tried to get to some other genres of games fps, roguelike , strategy ,sims, survival, crafting, adventure etc but meh boring as hell.
Actually I am looking for a game like WoW PVP,BattleGrounds/Arenas on Linux (even though I am not playing wow any more) cant find such a game.... not even on Windows.

I have tried Mount & Blade: Warband , Sir you are being haunted but again bored in less than 10 mins , do this, do that ...........

Give me a SWORD and a SHIELD and Put me Straight to Battle!!!!!!!!!!! am I asking a lot?? :><:

Most of the times I prefer to play old MAME Games , like King of Fighters or some old arcade action games, much more enjoyable :D
