Very unlikely. (I'm a programmer.)

Quoting: EKRboiI'm not a programmer but is it possible that it's not calculating the actual FPS properly due to 3x 1080p monitors?

Saibot Releases Doorways: The Underworld

If the first two hours didn't make it, I don't think the rest will do.
I was very scared before I even met anything actually threatening me.
Thanks for your thoughts about Doorways, I'll take a closer look at it.

Quoting: EKRboiI think possibibly I just never gave amnesia long enough for it to get interesting. I only played for about 2 hours.

It's the opposite for me: I was really, really terrified by Amnesia, The Dark Descent - and I loved it.
So after having tried, would you think Doorways is good for me?

Quoting: EKRboiEdit* having second thoughts after reading reviews. I like to have weapons in my horror games, it seems this is along the lines of the amnesia games though, no real weapons just "scares" and "puzzles", I played some of The Dark Descent, but ultimately ended up putting it down and never went back as it ended up getting a little boring to me. anyone who has played these care to chime in?

I think detecting and starting games is the first important things.
I didn't yet take a look at it, but what I would wish for after this is better organization/filtering of games than Steam does.

With my GTX660 on Debian Wheezy in 1680*1050 and high settings, I had 20 to 30 fps in the first open air scene with beta 2 and get 30 to 40 fps with the current build. I don't know how stable the fps is (according to some comments on Github, it isn't), but this is the first build that might be playable on high settings on my rig!

Dunno about yours, but mine wouldn't be more convinced than before if I tell her that I just need to play this certain ego shooter... (That's why I don't ask her in the first place. ;o) )

Quoting: CimerydSo what you're saying is that I NEED to order parts and build a desktop PC. Thanks, this will help me when arguing with the wife.

Jounrney Down has a nice special atmosphere. Have played the first one and bought the second one in said preorder campaign. Judging from the first episode, I can really recommend it.
