Played a few knockout matches and they were around 10-15 minutes each and a lot of fun.

Quoting: TheSyldatThe game looks fun and all I just started to play it a little bit...

But it is very involved and information heavy and my fucking god could the game use a big tutorial because wow just wow are things not explained to you at all.

I just started playing today and my gosh is the game information heavy.

I played against bots until I could beat the highest level for this very reason.

This is why I will never back anything before a final product has been released.

I think the poor performance in the mobile app is really holding this one back.

I used to see a lot of mobile users when I played this game and I feel like I'm seeing less and less these days.

CodeWeavers still looking for more developers to work on Steam Play/Proton

I had no idea that CodeWeavers was so close to me. Too bad I haven't used C in 10 years.

How does this free promotion work? Will Feral receive anything from this?

QuoteNot to downplay the progress of Steam Play but officially supported ports, “native” or not, will remain vitally important. They shouldn’t just break, but when they do, you’ve paid for official support and you would expect the developer to somewhat promptly fix it.
*Looks at Aspyr.* It’s been what, 5 months now since the Borderlands update? Not even an ETA still.

Quoting: subWhat I don't get is how many people that celebrate Proton, categorically reject Stadia.
Imho in the end it's a similar thing; you're able to play games that are not natively available.
For Stadia it's even the case that it might help the Linux infrastructure and raise acceptance among developers.
Well, Stadia has a number of issues besides whether or not it’s "Linux gaming." Latency, subscription model, Google’s data-grabbing... There’s kind of a lot that you have to overlook to embrace Stadia compared to Proton.

Yeah since proton was announced, Feral have started porting to Switch, iOS, and Android.

There are only two games on their radar and both are far off.

I fear our days of awesome Feral ports are coming to an end.

Dota Underlords changes ranking again to be more about skill and less about time
16 August 2019 at 5:06 pm UTC Likes: 1

There is some skill involved.

  • Where you place your units matters

  • Balance between getting a good army right away versus getting more gold instead

  • Knowing who has what and what you should get based on that

  • Which 3 star heroes to go for in a given match

  • Picking the right items for your build

Sure there is some randomness that can make or break a build. A good example of this is going for all 4 trolls. Getting the 5 gold troll can win the game but you may never see him once (I've had that happen to me before) and lose the game on that.
