Out of these, I've only played the Lego racing game. It's a perfect little game for the Deck! Runs well, and is very arcadey and fun which is great for short sessions. Definitely recommend.

2025 will be my time to build a new pc, so I suppose I'll be using a chip from this release cycle? Not sure. I'm more waiting on details on the radeon 8xxx gpus.

Only three months after the Claw, MSI reveal the new MSI Claw 8 AI+ gaming handheld

Poor MSI. I think they at least used to make high quality pc components, but nowadays it just seems like they've completely lost their way. I'm sure some executive somewhere is demanding different markets and blah blah corpospeak, but it's just ......... sad. Definitely diminishes my feelings on the company, and makes me think twice about buying components from them in the future.

They have this idiotic AI powered handheld (what does that even mean?) - oh, but it's still intel. and oh, but it's still windows. Dead before launch.

They somehow have a laptop that's partnered with Mercedes? Do what now? This doesn't even make sense.

Selaco is now in Early Access - one of the best shooters I've played in forever

Wonderful write up! I had no idea how fully fleshed out this EA would be. Seems crazy that it won't leave EA for another two years, but it certainly seems that they have a good roadmap, so I'll definitely keep an eye on this one.

This is typical from them. DONT. EVER. SUPPORT. NIGHTDIVE. Horrible developer that somehow continues to exist despite lots of other good devs going under :(

I wonder why it's running kernel 6.5 ...? Current stable is 6.8 and even the lts release is at 6.6.

With a Nintendo Switch 2 on the way, I hope Valve make a Steam Deck 2

I'd love it if they never really released a Steam Deck 2 or 3 or whatever, and instead just every year (or every other year maybe?) refreshed the internals / screen and kept calling it Steam Deck. They could do like apple does with computers. They just call it Macbook Pro 15 and then add a year (2024) to the serial number sticker or something like that.

The current design of the shell / controller / etc is perfect for me. Just needs a faster cpu/gpu and for the screen to keep getting better over the years.

Awesome GZDoom shooter Selaco will delist the demo (but you can still get it)

Man I loved this demo. Awesome to see it left up on the archives. More devs should do this! Very excited for this game, but I totally forgot that the May date is just the EARLY ACCESS date and not a release!!! Damn.

Quotewe expect to leave Early Access in 2026.

So ....... see you in three years.

With a few days to go Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy is fully funded on Kickstarter

Really looking forward to this one! The developers are wonderful. I'm kind of amazed at the amount they did their kickstarter for. It's so small for developing a game!
