Yeah, that did seem rather excessive. Shame really, as the game looks interesting.

Added a couple of sentences, not sure I can write much more about the game itself, I only spent a couple of minutes with it so far.

Their email support was quite fast to reply, even if it was just to say "we'll look into that".

Quoting: "Cheeseness, post: 3759, member: 122"I haven't had any problems with Shank or SMB myself.

Assuming you've already identified, subscribed to and submitted any extra details you might have to relevant bugs on the icculus.org bugzilla, it wouldn't hurt to shoot an email to the [email protected] as well (including relevant bug numbers). Maybe they can get Icculus' attention (or one of the other people working on maintaining the Humble Bundle ports).

Yep, done and done.

The most frustrating is the Anomaly people. The forum seems to only be monitored by some sort of helpdesk person, with no way of contacting the devs directly. If nothing else it might be possible to sweet-talk someone with an @intel.com address to contact them. Hopefully that's harder to ignore than just mere customers...

These are mostly problems with the later bundles, yes. I got a reply now that they're looking into the problem with ZB2. I also asked about proper updates for Shank and SMB.

QuoteBut I am leery about Team Meat. They do not seem to really care about us.

Yeah, though I'm not sure if it's bad of HIB to support not-so-Linux-friendly devs, or a good idea as there wouldn't have been much chance of a port otherwise?

Quoting: "Xpander, post: 3760, member: 92"i guess open source drivers still the common issue for some games with more gaphical detail or features and also some sound problems that have been plagued linux quite some time.
i myself havent run into those tho. but i have been using prop drivers with my ati card when i had it and now with nvidia as well.

The thing is that these were bugs _in the games_ not the drivers. But Nvidia and AMD doesn't follow the specs, so Mesa ends up taking the blame.

- Zen Bound 2 silently fails to start with Mesa drivers. You need to manually disable antialias in the game config. Considering that they asked for Linux beta testers and promised include Mesa devs with the beta testers this should have been caught and fixed.

- Still no fixes for Shank and Super Meat Boy. One needs to dig around in the bug tracker to find patches.

- Anomaly Warzone Earth from the first Android bundle is still broken. It was broken when it was first released (I could repeat the gripes about testing again here) and it's still broken in the latest update (which we waited a month for) with no word whatsover from the developers.

Nice, though I'm quite disappointed by the quality and support of the Linux ports from the bundles.

So have many of you played the original Wasteland? I must admit that I only know of it as the precursor to Fallout.

It's been on my list of games to check out, but that list only seems to grow longer and longer.
