It lags every few seconds and crashes every 30 (on average) minutes on my PC with superior specs, am I missing something?
Likely as not, it's just another example of the testing process not being rigorous enough. But we have to remember that the validation is specifically for the Steam Deck, not Proton on random desktop hardware. Maybe it's more stable on the Deck's AMD APU and driver/software stack? The lower resolution and default graphical settings might also make a difference.

I remember one reviewer mentioning the same type of lag on the Deck that I'm getting on my PC, so I think it was just not tested much? Actually It lags UNLESS I limit my FPS to 48, but it would still dump me to desktop every half an hr, either ways I hope ppl look into this, if I had the brain power I'd gladly help

Really weird if me having an nvidia GPU turns out to be the issue of the crashes, if I got any error messages I'd know why its happening but nope!
I can run on high 1440p at close to 100fps, but even on lowest 720p I'd get the lag and crashes.

SteamDeck Verified also takes into account support for the handheld and onscreen controls and is just not the exact same thing as supported by Proton or even running on Linux natively.
Forgot to take that into consideration

EDIT: After further investigation (as in just checking Playable category) that can not be the case. otherwise e.g. RimWorld would not be in Playable

I think it being only sold on steam and no retail would hurt sales

Microsoft to acquire Activision Blizzard

I see this as good news.
ActiBliz work culture is so disturbingly bad that I really cannot see how this is a bad thing, Microsoft being the owner now they would get in trouble for whatever Kotik (intentional) does, or at least I hope that would be the case.
This might also mean Blizzard games/future Blizzard games could go over Steam which is a dream-come-true for me.
Bobby should've been fired and jailed ASAP but this ain't a perfect world ig

Easy Anti-Cheat not as simple as expected for Proton and Steam Deck

So it will most likely take years to get near the same mp support on Linux.
Unless another multiplatform AC releases.
Even this is not guaranteed, since players can just install Windows. I assume most Deck players would be tech savvy enough to do this - The product won't be sold outside of Steam itself
