Future sci-fi indie RPG Beyond Mankind: The Awakening now on Linux

Is anyone else fed up with this annoying trend of developers not having a Linux version of their demo ? Also the part of the Linux system requirements including passmark scores is funny since it has no Linux version. I hope the game is good and I am lad they made a Linux version but the above is reason to be concerned about how much effort they put into the Linux port.

So I tried the demo which ran using Proton. The game was kind of janky, but the story; character creation; and RPG elements were all solid.

Indie store itch.io comes out swinging against NFTs

Quoting: const
Quoting: PublicNuisanceI still have no idea what NFT's really are but if they're causing stupid people and their money to be parted then they're ok in my book.
If it was just about stupid, they could be ignored, but they are highly unethical for various reasons. Enabling fraud on top of ponzi - hurting people believing in it, destroying the environment while abusing and possibly hurting artists that aren't even actively participating. They can also make stupid people rich, depending on luck and timing, if that helps with your decision.

I seem to be doing a good job of ignoring them, I still have no idea what they even are. Pictures ? Loot ? I have no idea and even a wesb search didn't answer my question. Seems to me the only people being "hurt" by them is consumers partaking in this nonsense. If that is true then seems to me the logical response is to not to use them, buy them, etc.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is out and works well on Linux

Even if I liked the original Dying Light, which I didn't, I would stay clear of this sequel. It uses Denuvo and I refuse to support games that stoop to that.

System76 releases the Kudu featuring AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX

The lack of Coreboot and my dislike of Nvidia GPUs means this is a pass for me. If I were to get a System76 laptop at the moment I would go with the Galaga Pro.

It's nice to see more devices ship with Linux support but i'll pass on this one. If I was going to buy a Mini system it would be the Librem Mini which has CoreBoot support and will work wth FLOSS distros such as Trisquel or Pure OS.
