Super Tux also runs on my RockPro64 so kudos to them for having ARM support. If one wishes to donate to the project they can do so through their Paypal or using Crypto.

The PSP already pushed me towards saving for a Talos II, Pluton just confirms that AMD and Intel CPUs are dead to me long term outside of a Libreboot setup.

I wouldn't have much faith in SerpentOS, Ikey and Strobl will probably ditch that in a few years for something else.

They say "Unless we run into major platofmr-specific issues, we would like to release a Linux version in parallel to the Windows version on Steam.", I have to wonder what engine they use to worry about that. I get a Unity vibe from this game. Not to try to force developer's hands but if they're making a visual novel game then Ren'Py would almost guarantee no Linux issues as the engine has fantastic Linux support.

Hopefully it makes it's way to Itch.io like the previous games in the series.

I wouldn't jump through these hoops to beg for native support let alone Proton support. If they had some sort of criteria such as "we will work on support if we hit x number of requests" then maybe but this is just a show. They have zero intention of following through but don't want the bad PR of outright saying no.

I'm going to be that old man here and say it. They chose one of the most permissible open source licences they could. Not much of a statement in my eyes or at least not the one many will think it is.
