Agreed. Apoligizing to the mob will only make it worse, never better. Forgivness will never be on the table with these people.

I like how this is an option but not forced. Best of both worlds. People like myself that love Lovecraft atmosphere and story can enjoy it without the stealth that I don't enjoy but those who want the stealth can have it.

Unless the issues with the demo have been fixed (they haven't been fixed yet in the demo) then the only Linux gamers who will be enjoying this game will be those using closed source Nvidia drivers or possibly closed source AMD drivers (haven't tested those myself). Those with Mesa or Nouveau drivers will not be able to play it due to a glitch in Unity that hasn't been fixed for years.

Quoting: tuubiTimed hot-spots sound annoying. Like quick-time events you need to chase around the screen. But maybe they're not as bad as they sound? If they are, they'll definitely ruin the fun for me.
Looks great otherwise.

No it's not. To be fair that is on AMD more than System76 in my eyes.

I'm most excited about this laptop because my wife likes the look of it and if she gets this over a Zenbook it will mean a much easier repair process for me down the road.
I am actually preferring the Intel GPU myself as I plan to want to run a FLOSS distro on it and AMD GPUs won't work for that.
I'd happily pay the 5K if I had it and it did cost that. Sometimes you have to put your money where your mouth is on certain issues. This laptop gives me many things I want, some of which no other laptop does.

The majority of humans are dumb. Shocking. Most people are too lazy to even perform basic maintenance on their car let alone their computer. Gotta clear that Netflix backlog first, they'll update later.
