Gyre: Nova State is a steampunk-inspired open world RPG promising Linux support on Kickstarter

I normally would prefer a working Linux demo to kickstart a game but I broke down and backed it anyway. Game looks like something I would enjoy.

Looks like Nightdive Studios enhanced version of 'Turok' might be coming to Linux (update: it's out!)

I already bought it on GOG back when I gamed only on Windows but I would be happy to buy a Steam copy if it happens to support the Linux version.

If I can figure out how to compile it then I will test it.

I hope you like Anime & Manga styled games, as GOG just added 10 with Linux support

Never thought I would see these on GOG. I'm down to spend some money next pay cheque to support it. I had been holding out buying them on Steam hoping for a Itch.io release but any DRM free options is good for me.

Just because he's leaving Feral doesn't mean he's leaving the Linux gaming scene. Hopefully will be helping us out in some other way.

I wish them well and will buy this upon release if it gets one but without a playble demo I can't part with the cash.

The Linux version of squad based Roguelike 'Steam Marines' has nearly become profitable

I didn't know Steam Marines was available DRM free on itch. That will speed my purchase up a bit.

Last Epoch is an RPG well worth supporting on Kickstarter, it's now fully funded

Thanks for the reminder. I had the demo downloaded for a bit now and had forgotten to try it out. Tried the latest demo, enjoyed it and pledged. Linux demo during campaign, plans for a DRM free version, good potential for the game overall, hard not to give $13 CAD to them.

Sounds like Linux game downloads are popular on game store itch

I have come to use Itch.io as my primary store when a game is on there. I stick to their DRM free games though not ones that only offer a Steam key. My only complaint about them would be their two factor authentication is broken for me. It would start to reject the keys the app would generate on 2 different itch accounts I tried. The backup codes are single use and were getting chewed up fast. I just ended up turning the feature off. My preference would be:

1. Itch.io
2. GOG
3. Humble
4. Steam

I have started to notice that more games are starting to put the Windows version on itch but not the Linux just like on GOG. Hopefully this trend doesn't continue.
