I'm glad the RX 580 is doing so well. I hope to see some becnhmarks with the Ryzen 1300X or 1600X as I am considering getting one soon to replace my 9590.

Looks like my kind of game. I emailed them asking if they plan a DRM free version. Those that wish to see one can vote here:

I never played the original so I may pick up the remaster at some point. Having a DRM free version bumps it up my list.

I loved the original one. Never got to give Feral money for it as I bought and beat it before I switched to Linux. I'll be buying this day 1 if I have the money. Thank you Feral !

I am near broke, have a huge backlog and still haven't beat the original. Take your time.

Thank you for the support. I also tested it in Solus as well and it gave me the same issue so it is possible an issue with the open source drivers for AMD. Not sure myself. I'm enjoying the game otherwise, I just play it on my spare system that uses just 1 monitor.
I tried it in Solus as well as Linux Mint with the same results. I'm thinking that since you use an Nvidia GPU and I use an AMD it could be an issue the game or engine is having with the Mesa drivers. I'd try it on Arch but I don't have the time or the balls to dive into Arch at the moment. One day.

Quoting: tgramsusI never tested the game in a multi monitor setup, so it's something that I can definitely take a look at.
Thanks for checking out the game guys.

Quoting: 14Not trying to brag, because I didn't do anything special, but I never have multi-monitor problems in any game. Maybe it only (heh, "only" ) affects Ubuntu-based systems. Liam sure mentions it a lot.

I picked it up due to the sale and Linux support. Not off to a great start. As soon as I switched the game to full screen it displayed on the wrong monitor and switched the refresh rate of my main monitor from 144hz down to 60hz. Man multi monitor gaming on Linux can be such a gong show haha. My only options are laugh or cry so gotta find the humor.

I wouldn't touch it at that price. I would only be interested in the pro model and for that I could get me a Ryzen CPU, RAM and mobo for my desktop.

Sad news, had been looking forward to this. Cheap as it may be that's money that I could put towards hardware or many other games. I will probably still give it a go but maybe on a half off sale. Any other readers play it yet ? It holds a very positive ranking but that doesn't always mean much. Metacritic is mediocre scores but only 3 total so far so small sample size.
