Sublevel Zero, A First-person Roguelike Six-degree-of-freedom Shooter Released For SteamOS & Linux
20 November 2015 at 4:00 pm UTC

I give every new game 3 months before I even think of buying them and this is why. Not saying I think releasing games in this state is alright, just that it's what I have come to expect. Hopefully patches are in route.

I'm more forgiving for early access titles so long as issues do get fixed. The next few weeks and months will tell the tale.

Quoting: pete910I'll just point out that the steam versions are DRM free too. you can run them without steam running/starting

You still need the Steam client running to download them, there's been debates on this but that's still a small form of DRM to some people.

Anyway, let's not turn this into a DRM war heh.

I guess when you buy it off GoG then it just appears on your system...

Darksiders & Darksiders II Linux Ports Have Not Been Forgotten About
8 November 2015 at 11:02 pm UTC

I'd be willing to give Darksiders another go when the ports are done but I doubt I will enjoy the game any more on Linux than I did on Windows which wasn't very much.

Three Years Ago Valve Put Steam Into Beta For Linux, A Look At It All

I've been really happy with the rise in the number of games on Linux but I would love it if more effort was spent on optimiziation from both the developers, publishers and from AMD/Nvidia. I still tend to get less FPS on my games from Linux than Windows 7. I believe that should be the other way around given the bloat of Windows.

In any case I am happy with the progress and hope Linux just keeps growing and getting better. If Netflix would make it's service work on Linux I'd be estatic.

Trine 3: The Artifacts Of Power Officially Available On SteamOS/Linux

I'm glad it finally made it over to Linux. It will be on my wishlist soon. I've never loved the Trine series but always found them to be decent and enjoyable.

2Dark - A Survival Horror Game Coming To Linux

Quoting: kozecDunno, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it looks like page sells only beta access and requires me to accept weird eula-like thing completely in french. Wtf?

The game says it will be out in 2016 on the home page as well as the article on GOL. I can't find anywhere on their homepage, trailer or facebook page where they mention Linux though.

Game looks interesting so here's hoping.
