I haven't gotten around to playing my copy of Showdown, think I'll wait for the Linux version.

New Linux Gaming Survey For July
4 July 2015 at 4:12 pm UTC Likes: 1

To fully answer the last question of the survey I am one of the few people who will not care about GOG Galaxy. I went to GOG to get away from clients. I just want to download my files and patches in peace without being attached to some client. I'm the guy who would live out in a cabin in the woods away from people if the internet was better there.

That being said I am really happy that Galaxy is coming out simply because it will attract more people to GOG and that is a great thing for fans of DRM free gaming such as myself.

I misread this as Trine 3 had come out with a Linux version, would of rather it been that :(

I sincerely hope they follow through and bring it to Linux day one. I am worried that it is also coming to consoles and that will hurt the PC version but hopefully they prove me wrong.

Looks Like Shadow Of Mordor Won't Support AMD Graphics On Linux At Release
14 June 2015 at 12:32 pm UTC Likes: 2

This is disappointing news. I would say the lack of a DRM free version would keep me away more than the lack of support for AMD cards. I find it hard to believe that many many other games work fine with AMD hardware and there is something keeping Mordor from working with their hardware and it is somehow AMD's fault. It would be nice if the developer went into more detail about what the issues are.

Desura owner Bad JuJu Games files for bankruptcy

I backed my Desura games up after reading this. I hope Desura can make a comeback but if they do fall there are other DRM free options out there such as Indie Game Stand, some games from Gamersgate and some games from Humble Store.
