Quoting: Purple Library GuyOn the other, there's a shot where your seal is chatting with a fish. So, you're talking to fish, but you're also eating them and selling them into slavery and/or to be eaten?Maybe only the seal can understand the fish?

Happy Birthday to GOL!
I've only been here for a couple of years, but I hope to stay for plenty more, because the community really is great.
Congratulations on a monumental achievement and a great milestone, Liam!

I love Mint Xfce, myself* - it's on several machines in my fleet (listed in profile), and it gets better all the time. Looking forward to when this version is finalised, as always!

Do a little speed-running with the Summer Games Done Quick Humble Bundle

Quoting: CaldathrasNot sure that I could ever consider Morrowind to be in the category of "Games Done Quick". I have probably logged thousands of hours into that game. I suppose it would be possible to speed-run the main quest but you'd be missing out on so much more that the game has to offer ...That's kind of the point of the Games Done Quick events, though - showcasing often-game-breaking speedruns (and other feats, like arbitrary code execution in Super Mario World, with the glitches allowing it performed as quickly as possible) to raise money for charity.
Here's the top Steam Deck games of June 2024, with ELDEN RING unsurprisingly top

I also set up Atomic Bomberman on my Steam Deck - something that I've been told is much more difficult, if not impossible, on current versions of Windows. I suspect that if I were to attempt that, I would probably be left sounding like some of the unused NSFW voice-clips.
And I've made 45p out of selling racked-up trading-cards, so I'm about to buy Toree 3D, as well.

QuoteWhat have you been playing recently? Picked up anything good in the Steam Summer Sale you're now hooked on?Cookie Clicker! I'd never played any idle-games before this one, and after watching this hilarious video, I just had to pick it up in the sale.

Quoting: ZlopezAnd as always I'm not playing anything in top 20 :-DThe only game in the entire list that I play is Stardew Valley. I used to play Vampire Survivors quite a bit as well, but lately I've dropped off from that in favour of Brotato.

Quoting: chrIs the desirable alternative thumbstick (that you wish your ideal controller included) here based on irregular potentiometer or capacitive or ldr?As I understand it, hall-effect magnets, which, as anyone with experience of the Sega Saturn analogue controller knows, can fail too, with some very wacky effects when they do.

Every time I check for support for the Intel version of the GPD Win Max 2021, and every time it doesn't happen. Guess mine's staying on Mint Xfce, then!
As an aside, I do like the way that the Bazzite logo on the official website moves as you move your mouse around it.

Forza Horizon 4 is getting delisted in December

Alas, I haven't seen too much fallout from it, myself. If you guys don't mind me being a little blunt for a moment: Gamers are usually terrible at organising, and everyone who accepted cosmetic horse-armour is to blame for the situation we now have today - they were warned about the slippery slope and refused to listen.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyGood lord. Was there fallout? I'd be out for scalp if someone did that to me.
Quoting: slaapliedjehttps://www.engadget.com/ubisoft-is-deleting-the-crew-from-players-libraries-reminding-us-we-own-nothing-165328083.htmlAnd it happened amidst a campaign relating to both this game and the larger issue! (There was a very paid-off-sounding follow-up here, too.)
I'm not even sure how that's legal, but definitely is a reminder to people that you don't own the games. And why DRM is ultimately anti-consumer.

Quoting: BlackBloodRumThink this is bad? Wait until those "requires online to play" games start getting this. Not only will they be de-listed, but they will also be unplayable.See also: Ubisoft's The Crew, which was not only delisted, but they then went and removed it from the libraries of everyone who had purchased it, too.

CUTE! This has instantly gone on my wishlist, and I've sent the trailer on to a Ghostbusters-fan relative who I know will love it, too. Can't wait for this one!
Also, this is the first game that I've looked forward to since Super Bomberman R 2 from last September, and it's shown up right when I wasn't sure if there'd be any more releases for me this year - good timing.
