Wine Staging 2.15 released with more Direct3D 11 improvements
23 August 2017 at 9:57 pm UTC Likes: 1

Gave up on wine quite a while ago. I have enough to play in Linux, and last time I tried wine was more of a hassle to get a game working at all than it was worth it. I even had to create several steam-wine-prefixes because games were getting in each others way.

The VM option is feasable - but nah, seriously.

I'd say it was very stable over the past month, generally very stable since July. I can't see a trend which would require this post, but it's always good to remind the community ;-).

If the developer is open to a port, we could send Ryan Gordon a hint to the developer :D ..

Hard to tell without a price tag on it. For 20-30 Euro - sure. For 60 - not so much.

Ryan "Icculus" Gordon is looking for new games to port to Linux, pay not required

If he could just do a port of the Blizzard Engine... and convince them to support it :-).

Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth released with day-1 Linux support, it’s fantastic

Now I hope they work fast. Played through, and can't wait for the 2nd book.

Though, some decisions and talk options are not like in the book, sadly, as when talking King Steven, in the book the talk had an option which seems not to be there.

Just played the first hour, it's beautiful! Rather not like an adventure but like a novel telling game. Quite fascinating, hope we see more games like that.

Quoting: FeistOK, never heard of "Ken Follet" or this before but it sounds great so I´ll be sure to pick this one up.

Check the book series to the game, its a joy to read.
