QuoteThe developer switched from Source to Unreal Engine for the second part

Source is a great engine, is Unreal engine better? Why the developer switched to Unreal engine?

Maybe since he's doing it as a hobby, he just switched to gain experience with another engine? (i.e. pad the resume a bit more)

Quoting: cprnNo Steam package? :(

Doesn't look like it.. Easy to d/l and play though. It comes in a tarball... extract it and run run.sh which then downloads some updates and runs the game.. My folder after that is about 88MB.

It seems pretty easy to pick up too (if you've played MTG)

Quoting: cprnI ride a motorcycle. :><: Hatred grows when I see arcade physics...

I ride a motorcycle. I've had this game for a long time now and enjoy the heck out of it. I just treat it as a silly game, not a motorycle simulation.. Don't try this one at home kids...

Battle Chasers: Nightwar has silently removed mentions of Linux support a few hours before release (updated)

So, the developers comment seems pretty reasonable, and it sounds like Linux may still (hopefully) get it, just not at launch. Better upfront communication probably would have been nice, but it sounds like their heart is in the right place. If it launches for Linux with good reviews, I'll still be interested at that time..

According to netmarketshare Linux hit 6.91% market share last month, higher than Mac

We're down to 4.94%... boo! (although still a big jump from last month, and I'd take it without a doubt)
