Quoting: EikeThe Linux-powered Atari VCS is not changing design, core hardware or peripherials anymore and instead will be on the shelves next week. - Nobody, ever

Hey, you'll regret those words when it's finally released... in 2600.

Quoting: toorThat moba had a bad community, but it was the best MOBA I have ever played, very dynamic gameplay compared to other mobas, even dota2

I'd never had exposure to MOBA's when HoN was released for Linux. I installed it and was checking it out, watching some online games, tried to learn a bit of strategy, etc... I decided to jump in to one after a while.. I let everyone know I was a noob, etc. I had one guy say, "great, but gave me a couple basic tips and told me good luck", and everyone else basically rip'ed me and treated me like a pariah... after a couple rounds, I never played again, and uninstalled it after a few weeks. I've never played a MOBA again..

Welp, they've managed to get themselves removed from my wishlist... That generally only happens when I buy games unless some company really ticks me off...

For the record, I have zero interest in Fortnite, but my son is addicted to it.

Quoting: freerunnerliveI love steam. I play the hole weckend skyrim in 4k. Proton forever!!!

Hmmmmpphhh, Mine has the NPC voices bug (where there are no voices for the NPC's). There are some possible workarounds, but I'm really just hoping they get Proton fixed so it just works..

Install XACT into the SKSE prefix, also make sure your open files size is large enough.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've made some effort on the XACT front with some of the issues that others have commented upon, and decided its probably going to be easier to wait for upcoming real fixes that are supposedly coming soon - I'm a patient man. (and I'm running on a headless home built steam machine with intermittent wireless connectivity issues, which makes it a pain)

I haven't heard of any issues regarding "open files" size. I assume that is to do with the kernel parameter fs.file-max... Do you have a link to what is the proper size for "large enough" or any more information at all on that? (I did do some searching to no avail...)
Thanks..

inXile will be 'all hands are on deck' to get the Linux version of The Bard's Tale IV out as soon as possible

Quoting: Mountain ManI'm too cynical to believe there'll be a Linux version until I see the "Buy" button on Steam. How many times have we heard, "We'll get to the Linux version right after the Windows release!" followed by "We'll get to the Linux version right after we spend the next couple of months releasing critical patches for the Windows version!" followed by "We'll consider looking into the Linux release just as soon as we're done with this DLC for Windows!" followed by "The Linux version is being delayed because we've hit some technical snags!" and then finally, 18-months later, "We're suspending development of the Linux version due to lack of interest. But thanks to everybody who donated to our crowd funding campaigns! Our Windows customers are thrilled with their game!"

As a backer, I sincerely hope that will not be the case. I only put my faith in it as they seemed to have a decent record of porting... However, I'll admit, I've been a bit letdown each time they announce an alpha/beta to their backers and they are not considering other OS'es, so obviously not doing simultaneous cross-platform development..
