I backed it. Anyone who backed Sundered (which I did) had the opportunity to get Pinstripe for free by backing Once Upon a Coma in the first 24 hours. Pinstripe's been on my wishlist since release, so the opportunity to get both games for $10 couldn't be missed!
Dungeons 2 is currently free on GOG and their sale is still going on

Entirely contained. Adam's scripts are as close to playing a native game as you can get using WINE. I highly recommend checking them out.

Reposting here as it's still relevant (and I updated all of my wrappers recently):
Older/classic games currently on sale on GOG that I've made Wine wrappers for:
Crysis
Crysis Warhead
Deadly Premonition
Deus Ex GOTY Edition (flash deal)
Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition
Freedom Force
Freedom Force vs the Third Reich
Hitman: Codename 47
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
Hitman 3: Contracts
Jade Empire: Special Edition
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Collection
Mafia
Mirror's Edge
The Saboteur
Sid Meier's Civilization IV: The Complete Edition
STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl (flash deal)
STALKER: Clear Sky
STALKER: Call of Pripyat
System Shock: Enhanced Edition
System Shock 2
Total Overdose: A Gunslinger's Tale in Mexico
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition
The flash deals seem to be repeating fairly regularly so if you want Deus Ex or STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl you probably won't have to wait too long before they show up again
Do your scripts remain entirely contained? i.e. WINE does not take a giant shit on the filesystem/DE settings/libraries?
Even still, the only way I would try a community WINE wrap is if said game is absolutely gratis. I don't want any money going to tyrant developers.

The Humble Paradox Bundle 2018 is a rather enticing deal

Absolutely!!
I've never played any of the PoE DLC, and I really, really enjoyed PoE.

Not necessarily. There are plenty of games that are available DRM free on GOG or Humble that are DRM'ed on Steam.
I'm not sure about PoE though.

If it's DRM-free it's DRM-free on steam as well. You just have to (or not) download it using their client.
Btw, for Stellaris, is it only the base game?

I'm going to pass on this one - the only thing I'm missing is Magicka 2, and I'm not much of a co-op player.
The big Wine 3.0 release is now officially available

As long as AMD can get their shit together in the laptop market, I'll agree with you. Up to now, laptop users who wanted gaming performance had to go with nVidia.

Another reason to ditch Nvidia. In a few years, Nvidia will be barely used on Linux. See the trend on the same page you linked to.

Truth!
I've been playing through Baldur's Gate on my tablet right now, and it's exactly like you say - designed for mobile. I bought all four when they were on sale....

haha I bought it on mobile recently because it was on sale... lemme tell you I'm afraid of buying Planescape, I might never put down my phone...
These infinity engine games were written for mobile they just didn't know it back then.

adamhm supports GOG on Linux better than GOG supports GOG on Linux!
These wine-wrappers are pretty much perfect in my experience.

X-Plane user data shows Linux usage holding steady

This.
I certainly wouldn't have completely switched to Linux if WINE didn't exist. WINE and I have had a rocky relationship, and I've refused to use it at all for long periods of time. I do still have a hand-full of games that I use WINE for.
As a general rule, I only buy Linux games, but every now and again GOG hits me right in the nostalgia, and I buy a non-Linux game to play via WINE.

Quoting: scaineAnd while I get your argument about dual-booting and Wine gaming and so on, you have to remember that many people wouldn't be using Linux at all if it weren't for those options.

Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition announced for later this month, new content included
8 November 2017 at 4:43 am UTC
You can quote yourself if you like, but neither your original post, nor their website answers my question.
I have the basic pre-order edition, which is essentially the Hero edition. The Definitive edition is going to include all content from the Royal edition. Obsidian has never offered any way for people to upgrade already purchased editions.
I'll get the Deadfire DLC for free, and I can buy the White March DLCs, but I still won't have all of the content of the new Definitive edition.
And unless they offer some sort of upgrade path, the only way to get that content is to re-buy the whole game, which I'm not willing to do.

I'll do it too in that case :)QuoteThe new Deadfire Pack DLC will also be made available for free to all existing (and future) owners of Pillars of Eternity on Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs to thank them for their ongoing support of what has become one of the world’s most beloved RPGs.
Says the website.
