Quoting: Para-Glidingstrange game, it is badly rated on steam due it seems to bugs, no translation? Some of you own this gam and how does it compare to a minecraft for teenagers? ty for your returns

It is a strange game and I don't think it compares at all. Building takes a lot of work and resources. To get those, you need to move around to other islands as well. Make something better to sail with because the initial life raft is a disaster. Dive to get loot from underwater wrecks. And deal with hostile wild life. Diving to deeper wrecks creates quite a bit of tension due to sharks and lack of visibility. All in all a different experience.

That sounds amazing! On the wishlist it goes...

Bought it. Playing it. Not very good at it :)

Lot's of fun though.

That's unfortunate timing. Yesterday, it was just on sale for 40% off, and I waffled about buying it. I've been burned too many times by the "coming to Linux" promise, so I passed on it.

Quoting: Sir_DiealotThe general issue I have with the game is that I came to it late and the learning curve is just totally overwhelming. You play for a couple hours and get crushed out of the blue by some monster you simply couldn't see coming. It is very much a wiki game, unplayable without the wiki by your side. Your success or rather survival totally depends on prior knowledge.

This isn't entirely true. I played a lot of hours of this game, and had some reasonable success, without every looking at a wiki.

And, while I've had greater success since wiki'ing it (as opposed to winging it), I think I had more fun exploring and discovering things on my own.

ATOM RPG had another large update recently continuing to make it a better game

Quoting: NanobangI own Atom, but haven't gotten around to playing it, which, as it turns out, is great. It looks like the longer I wait to play, the bigger and better the play experience is going to be!

I'm in the same boat. I bought it as soon as it was available on GOG, but I haven't played it yet.

Humble Strategy Bundle 2019 is out and it's another good choice for Linux players

I grabbed the $1 just for Niche. It's been on my wishlist for awhile, but I've never been keen enough to pull the trigger before. $1 is the right price :)

The Humble Indie Bundle 20 is now officially live!

I grabbed the first tier - The First Tree and Tangledeep were both wishlist items for me.

I already have Tooth and Tail from a previous bundle (Strategy Bundle, I think?). I don't have a DRM free download. I've sent Humble an email asking if DRM free downloads will be made available for folks who already had Tooth and Tail prior to Indie Bundle 20.

[Edit]Humble got back to me - nope. Anyone who already has Tooth and Tail from a previous bundle will NOT be getting the DRM free build.[/Edit]

ATOM RPG to get a much improved English translation, modding support and tons of new features

While I really appreciate the post-release support, it does make one wonder how they draw the line between "In Development", and "Released".

I wonder how they're handling modding support and the GOG version?
