GLFW 3.2, a multi-platform API for developers released with Vulkan support
8 June 2016 at 8:54 pm UTC

If I recall correctly GLFW was more modular than SDL too whereas SDL was more procedural. It's been a long time, I can't remember why I didn't choose GLFW then.

Obviously now, Vulkan support is a excellent reason to choose it IMO now to spin up some prototypes.

All I can say is I hope it will be 4 player co-op local.

I used to have horendous lag and major wait times converting content to new formats - maybe now that I got a new CPU it wont be so bad but I'm not sure if I can play it on my Skylake as I moved my GTX 970 into my Steam Machine.

Hmm... I hope its good.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris looks like it's coming to Linux

So from the community forum it seems like this game is 4 player local co-op? If so that's fantastic I'm collecting 4 player local games to play with friends local.

Gaming, Friends and Linux are all the things I am combined.

Quoting: EikeOf course, that's a biased top ten. League of Legends e. g. would be in there if it would be on Steam. But it's still great.

Works fine for me using Steam Overlay and WINE.

Here you go. You may need to modify this before adding it to your Steam Library if you're not using Arch.

Obviously it's not a native fix, but if your CPU isn't the bottleneck it runs ARAM just fine and other modes at least on Skylake for sure.

Skimming the video this reminds me of Race the Sun a little.

Someone tell the Game Development community that I want more 4 player games on my Steam Machine. Lately I've been taking to 4 controllers on my Steam Machine and 50".

Looks like a fascinating find, sort of NeonXSZish, Tronish, GTA 2 ish, etc...

Rocket League for Linux & SteamOS getting close to a release window finally

I guess I might as well play this on Windows and see if it's worth playing or buying later.

What a shame it's taken so long, like a earlier posted said well this is a bit of "glass half empty" and "glass half full" situation.

While pleased to have something new to potentially play the major delay killed my boner for this game.

I guess I'll just have to play it or wait and see if my boner can get back to 100% over rocket league.

Quoting: LinasThis is great news. Linux on the desktop will not make a breakthrough in the office, it will do it as a multimedia platform.

I think you meant to write that Linux on the desktop will not make a breakthrough in the professional photography industry, but it already has in gaming, tv, corporate offices, servers, and consumer phones.
