1. Get old small desk
2. Buy 1 sheet of 5/8" cabinet wood and cut to desired desktop size.
3. Stain, paint and finish with eurthane if desired.
4. Mount new desktop on old desktop with glue or screws

As a StarCraft 2 Map curator, I would love Blizzard games on Linux as I now only use Arch Linux, and maybe WINE once in a while.

Valve is just chipping away at the mountain, the avalanche is coming. I suspect that Steam Machines Winter 2016 and Spring 2017 will be power houses ready for the final console war.

There Steam Machines will enact the final solution. We will be victorious comrades.

Wut? My video card bill this year was $800 for 2 rigs nvidia. That was the cost of gaming on linux with good performance.

I was expecting something between 400-600 ironically.

If AMD becomes the technically superior choice in hardware and driver I'll sell both nVidia cards and opt for maybe some 390s or Fury's

Suggestion: keep a cheap $200 - $400 Windows Box (or Laptop) around and Remmina RDP or NoMachine connect via LAN, I do this in emergency situations. It's nice to never leave Gnome, Plasma 5 is nice too.

I've watch +4 Stardew Valley already, my peeps are playing on WINE with incredible stability so far. The FNA Developer even offered to port it as it has so few dependencies.

I'm playing lots of Counter Strike: Source, should get back to Bioshock Infinite but I think the computer ate my saves. Distance is hella fun, exceeded my already high expectations.

Pass. $800 for a headset that requires performance from CPU's and GPU's that barely exist yet.

Maybe developers are excited, but as a gamer I'm not sure I'll ever be excited by VR.

As for RocketLeague, feeling a lot of excitement and disappointment. This title has been a rodeo.
