Lol you made me think of this inverse meme that could use a Capitolism version becoming a Banana Republic
Of course it points out my favorite point that neither Capitolism nor Communism as systems exist -- remember Tiananmen Square Masacre? That was the gov using rural folk against City College kids who were like "Yo bro, this isn't Communism, this isn't what we were promised".
On the other hand in the quote "Capitalist" world (lol), you have a handful of corporations literally control everything including government regulations.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyQuoting: TheSHEEEPI came here to see a bunch of "capitalism bad! Harrumph!" comments and was not disappointed.Capitalism bad! Harrumph!
But I think you're being a touch unfair. It's the game designers themselves who said "Capitalism bad". The first comment was a "capitalism good! Harrumph!"
And I personally haven't even said anything about capitalism yet, I've just pointed out that it's silly to rule out of bounds all critique of any system on the basis that the person criticizing is in, and part of, the system.

Valve is protecting themselves from hostile partnerships.
This has nothing to do with consumers. Just whether or not Publishers can get the Sweet Sweet Valve Nectar and Fuck Valve at the same time by under-selling their partner with another partner eg: CCP+Tencent+Epic.
Valve Says -- No you must be fair to us -- if you want to charge less elsewhere you have to charge the same lower amount for our customers too.
And of course the Hostile Partners are all Surprised Pikachu on why they are not allowed to be on a platform while simultaneously fucking that platform over.
Bravo Valve for respecting yourself and requiring equal treatment, I'm 100% behind you, especially after the 7,000 Native Linux Games that Valve gave me and the 0 Native Linux Games that Epic gave me -- oh but I got some hostile remarks from Tim Sweeney, get wrecked Epic -- I don't mind having a #2 gaming store -- but if I have anything to say about it it'll never be a Anti-Linux piece of shit store like CCP+Tencent+Epic -- but hey why should we be surprised, Epic basically is complacent against their CCP Partners in literal genocide and slavery of their Uighers picking 20% of the world cotton and using prison labor where their fingernails literally are falling off from to produce the worlds slave garlic.
Where is the world outrage and human decency focused on the right problem and not a diversion when you need it.
As for Wolfire's David Rosen selling off Humble Bundle to IGN -- thanks bro, you really fucking sold the company & us down the fucking river -- but hey sellouts gotta sellout, and good shit gotta become bad shit -- Humble Bundle, Woot, Newegg, yadda yadda yadda.

I figured I'd buy a copy because I love Feral and reports of AMD MESA on Linux are good and sometimes old games are just made well and interesting to try.
I noticed on the Steam download page it reported that it will take 43.95 GBand not the 70 GB not sure why (Maybe it's more if you also install the original version too)
(Looks like 70GB is with Free Release DLC)

Find penalty laws of "fucking with nuclear facilities" and "hospitals" and I'm sure there could be a pretty long list of felonies drawn up.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing the EFF sue the shit out of them.

Sofa gaming Linux distro GamerOS version 23 is out continuing to fill the gap of SteamOS

I've been gaming on Arch for like 6 years, rolling release "risky" is mostly a myth.
40% of the gamers here prefer to game on Arch
https://www.gamingonlinux.com/users/statistics
Meanwhile non-rolling distros occupy less linux-gamer-share.
So there you have it my two cents on it.
Edit: Used SteamOS a few years and loved it, the AUR has a lot of awesome content between Kodi, Retroarch, etc... I'm really glad someone is picking up the torch and making improvements, adding Value to to Valve products for gamers like Emulators, Chromium Browser (for Netflixers probably), etc... is perfect.
I'm so glad they decided to be based on Arch -- I wish other projects like Elementary would see the Enlightenment and ditch their awkward Ubuntu LTS octo-snap monster base for something more mainline.

Terraria for Google Stadia is surprisingly back on and going through certification

As much as I agree, I think the difference boils down to which order each priority is numbered -- I think they [Re-Logic] (prioritize practicality over morality -- they probably REALLY wanted to give Google Stadia the finger for good, but already had a financial investment and didn't want to disappoint fans since they already announced intended support.
(Hopefully Re-Logic learned their lesson and as close to 0 of their infrastructure is hosted by Google)
On that note -- Google Stadia makes an EXCELLENT argument for why someone would want to purchase their games on GOG even before Steam -- an Always_On_Anything can ALWAYS go from BAD to WORSE. My trust in Steam is directly proportionate to Gabe Newells vitality -- what a chad legend, we need more like him.

Quoting: 14I'm not surprised to see this news at all, however I'm actually a little disappointed. How can you continue to work with a company that controls all your assets and is unreachable? I don't get it.
