I played through the demo again yesterday, and I think most of the levels are new from the demo this summer. I love what I've seen of it so far, and the puzzles give me a genuine Stephen's Sausage Roll vibe, which is a great thing, while still being their own thing.
I was really stumped on one of the puzzles (Ditch) for a while, and had to leave it while I finished the rest. When I came back to it though, it seemed so obvious. I really like that you have a choice between puzzles, so that you don't really get stuck, even when you're struggling with some of them.

Yeah, it's no trouble at all; I'll forward it to them.
I only now noticed that GOG's forum software doesn't seem to support permalinks for posts at all.
Quoting: Avehicle7887Would you mind going the extra mile and forward this information to them (the screenshot of their own changelog)? It would be appreciated.

I asked a developer about this on their Discord server, and he said he thinks GOG is only missing some Windows-only controller fixes. What sort of issues does the game have on GOG? If it's the missing gamepad glyphs, that's an issue on Steam too, and I know they were looking into it recently.

Quoting: Avehicle7887I lost credibility in this dev, not only World to the West is outdated on GOG, I sent them an email to notify them of the incident and I've been given no reply whatsoever.
Unfortunately I don't think about buying this one until they update their previous game.

That was a huge disappointment for me as well. Apparently they were having some trouble with FMOD, and are also using an unnamed library which doesn't support Linux at all.

I played the demo during the Steam Game Festival in June, and thought it was very good. Going to give it a new try as soon as possible.

Quoting: dr_jekyllBy the way, have you contacted the usual adventure fan sites?:
- https://www.adventure-treff.de/ (german, but they can speak english of course; germany is sometimes described as the last adventure loving country :D, but I don't know if thats true)
I forgot some others I guess, but it is worth trying to contact these communities.

I've watched most of those movies, but still only knew Megan Fox as the developer of Hot Tin Roof and SkateBIRD, so I didn't understand the confusion. Must not have made a big impression on me then.
Nice to see a Linux demo of the game, since I was a bit disappointed when it was Windows-only in the last Steam demo event.

Amazon announces 'Luna', their own take on cloud game streaming

Stadia unquestionably has more positive repercussions for us, since it forces developers to adapt to Linux and Vulkan, whereas Luna makes that completely irrelevant. No matter what you think of streaming, Stadia is clearly a better deal for our ecosystem than Luna or GeForce Now.

I wonder, should we jump on the stadia train for now? I mean, they are the only one who kinda support us for now... Do you think that a strong stadia will encourage more devs to go for Linux ?
