Desperados III confirmed to be coming to Linux this Summer

Their PC debut was actually The Last Tinker, which is also available for Linux, and is sort of a 3D platformer with training wheels. I enjoyed that one a lot to, so I think they have a great track record so far.

Quoting: dudeGreat! Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun was really a bombastic premiere for Mimimi Studios. Great fun.
This one is definitely must buy for me. Wishlisted.

Looks like a lot of fun! I wonder how much freedom you have in designing those monuments. Like, does it have to be a building, as in the trailer, or could you build a giant Tux or a rainbow?

Fantastic news! I started playing Shadow Tactics last week, I'm loving it, and would love more of the same in a wild west setting.

Also, to adjust your expectations, keep in mind that since the client is completely optional, and developers are free to package their games the way they want, the client won't always be able to launch a game. It uses some fancy heuristics to try to figure things out though, and does an amazing job of it most of the time, but sometimes it's necessary to manually add an app manifest to the game directory to let the client know what to do with a game:

Of course, the best thing is to also let the developer know in these cases, so they can fix it.

Quoting: morbiusRight, since there is a client, I've bought the bundle and decided to give it a go. Among 1700 indie games there is bound to be be some that click with me. It can't possibly be a bad deal and it's for a good cause. Apparently, I'm not the only one thinking so, as client can't install due to pressure of all the people rushing in.

Supraland is leaving GOG after less than a year, dev says sales were low

Does GOG have the infrastructure to split sales between multiple publishers, depending on the platform a game is downloaded to? If not, that could explain why.

Quoting: ShmerlQuoting: slaapliedjeI also get annoyed at the many games on GOG that elsewhere have Linux versions, but they don't provide one themselves.
Yeah, that's a mess. The worst cases are major games which are missing ports from Feral for instance.

itch.io has a huge bundle going to support 'Racial Justice and Equality'

Ok, I think it's safe to say that adding a game to a collection doesn't make it integrate with the client in any way then. What I did was to open the bundle download page in the Itch client (which requires a new login), and start the downloads from there, which makes them open in the Itch client download dialog.
Itch collections can be made public, and can have multiple contributors, as this one (which is unfortunately not terribly well maintained):

Quoting: scaineQuoting: tuubiQuoting: RafiLinuxGo the games you wanted in the bundle that you purchased - Click Download - Go to the bottom of that page and it says "+ to collection" - Click that and for me I only have 1 collectionI'm pretty sure it ends up in your owned games as soon as you click Download, so the step where you add it to your collection is not actually necessary. :)
Then refresh your itch.io client and it should be under your owned games.
Yep, as Tuubi notes, I hit the "download" button, but I don't bother actually downloading anything. Hitting that button has added it to my account (although you MUST restart Itch client to see the new games).
I'm not sure if wishlists/collections can be made public on Itch? If so, then, yeah, it would be cool to see a Linux-only collection of this that we could all "subscribe" to, or copy, or however it works.

Yes, I've associated the purchase with my account, and both your workaround and the one I described earlier work just fine. I was just curious about this particular workaround using collections, because if that works, someone could create a collection with all of the Linux games from the bundle and link to it here, and it would save all of us from a lot of browsing. I think I must have misunderstood what they meant though, since that doesn't work for me.

Quoting: tuubiQuoting: fleskAs soon as you click download on any of the items on the special bundle page you got a link for when you bought the bundle, they should appear under owned games in your library. At least they did for me. And opening the game's page afterwards, I see the [Install] button at the bottom. If this doesn't work for you, maybe try restarting the client? Or contacting itch.io support if that doesn't help?Quoting: RafiLinuxQuoting: dpanterA bit bummed that the bundle lacks integration with the itch.io client. :/
I got around this but adding the games I wanted to my collection and it will show up under owned games making it easy to install.
Can you expand on this? I tried adding a game from the bundle to a collection using the "Add to Collection" button on the store page, but it doesn't show up under my owned games, and can't be installed from the game page opened from the collection in the Itch client.
I don't think collections have anything to do with this.
EDIT: Did you actually buy the bundle for your account? I mean, were you logged in to itch.io at the time? If you did, you should see something like this at the top left when you're on the bundle page:
You should be able to claim the bundle on the download page if you didn't.

It's a good thing that it doesn't just add everything to your library though, since the filtering options in the client are very limited, and filtering by just Linux games is not possible at all. I see what you mean though, but you can work around this issue by pasting your bundle URL into the address bar in the Itch client. You will be required to log in again, but from there, you can choose to download the games you want, and they will integrate with the client.
