Thanks for highlighting these issues again. :)

Crowdfunding roundup with internet sim Hypnospace Outlaw, 3D point & click Woven and more

I'm at 30–35 of 93 successfully funded games that have been delivered. (A bit uncertain since a few are episodic and only partially delivered.) Another 5–10 should be coming out within the next half a year. I've worked on enough (non-creative) projects in my own career that have gone months or years past their original deadline for various reasons, so for me that's not surprising or anything to worry about, but I respect that not everyone's the same.

Check out 'Binaries' if you fancy an eye bending challenge on Linux

I was almost certain I'd written about this game back in June, but no. It's very enjoyable, but gets difficult fast. Should be a great one for fans of challenging platformers with a fun twist.

Looks like 2D adventure game 'Owlboy' will come to Linux using FNA

I've had an eye on Owlboy for years, and I'm very happy that it looks like it'll come to Linux. Flibitijibibo tweeted about it a couple of weeks ago too.

Ok, I understand. :) I hadn't been paying attention, so it could have been delayed for all I knew.

I think it's great. I beta tested the Linux version and will hopefully put a review up in not too long. (I can't believe it's been a couple of weeks already since it was released.) The puzzles are fun and never get frustratingly difficult, though some of the puzzles late in the game took me a while to figure out. There are also a few challenges that require somewhat fast reflexes, but nothing that you won't get past after a few tries. It also has secret collectibles, and I quite enjoyed finding several of them. If I were to compare it to other games, I think the closest comparisons (that I've played) are Monochroma and In Between.

EDIT: Regarding the title of the article: wasn't Hue on Linux since release? I thought it was, since the Linux version seemed pretty solid when I tested it the weeks before, but I'm not 100% sure.

GOG now have the challenging minimalistic platformer '140', cool soundtrack that ties into the gameplay

Great game, but I'm not too fond of the challenges at the end of each level either. I played through the normal levels but gave up on the first mirrored level when I realized I'd never get past the end of it.

Refunct, a beautiful, peaceful, short first-person platformer will release the Linux version soon

I think it looks pretty fun. Surprised it's getting a 50% cut though, since it's very cheap as it is.
