Yeah, I've played it too and I'm loving it. :) I really hope they manage to get it funded. Here's the download link for anyone interested: http://labzerogames.com/indivisible-prototype_linux.tar.gz

Quoting: ricki42The Indivisible prototype is up now (and before the Mac version! :P). I've only had time to play for ~10min, but it runs well so far.

I don't think they'd have to make HL3 a Linux exclusive on PC in order to push Steam Machines, if that's the plan. The previous games were on consoles too, and there are likely many console gamers who would pick a Steam Machine over PlayStation 4 if that means they can play HL3. I don't think us PC gamers are going to make a difference between Steam Machines being a success or not in the short run either way, but if they're enough of a success that more publishers find it worthwhile to port their games to Linux, that should make desktop Linux more interesting to PC gamers in the long run.

Looks interesting. :)
The only game I can think of with a similiar game mechanic is Wordtrap Dungeon from the developer of MouseCraft. It's only a prototype of a dungeon crawler/typing game though, and it's pretty dull.
EDIT: Oh, it was different from what I remembered, and not that kind of typing game at all. Much more similar to Letter Quest it seems. /EDIT
Actually, there's also this bundle of joke games that contains 30 Flights of Loathing, which is similar, but it's not available for Linux.
Something very different, but that's also spelling related is Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey, where you have to come up with words on your own to fight monsters. It's only in English though, so that can be hard if it isn't your native language.
Quoting: Miqueyebtw.: anyone got any tips for a nice typing game while I'm waiting for this?
thanks!

The Journey Down On Kickstarter, Funding Final Chapter Of Point-And-Click Trilogy

I liked both but 2 is my favorite too. If I remember correctly, 1 initially had some issues with the voice recordings being of very low quality. I think they re-recorded several of them later. 2 was very solid overall, in my opinion, with a great story and puzzles that were well integrated into the game.
My pleasure. :)

Quoting: EikeQuoting: aLChapter 1 was great... chapter 2, not so great... unfinished and unpolished everywhere...
I found chapter 2 to be better and for sure more polished than chapter 1.
Chapter 1 even had some voice recordings with wrong voice AFAIR, at least not matching at all.
But both are great IMHO!

Meditative Labyrinthine Puzzle Game 'Expand' Release Imminent, Plus Some Thoughts

Thanks for the review. :)
I'm glad to hear that, since I think Expand looks very interesting, but I was afraid it was too much like Super Hexagon, which I don't enjoy playing at all.
QuoteIts slow pacing and thoughtfulness set it well apart from games like Super Hexagon that may superficially look similar.

Humble Indie Bundle 15 Has Launched, Say Hello To Skullgirls

I already have the Deponia trilogy, so I'm hoping for one of the Daedalic's that haven't been released for Linux before.

Quoting: hummer010I'm guessing we'll see at least one of the other two Deponia games next week. Probably both of them.
Any other guesses as to the games that will be added next week?

I can't speak for Liam, but if a developer doesn't make a profit supporting Linux, that's not good for us either, as it will make them think twice about supporting Linux in the future.

Quoting: clelFor developers sales numbers are more important and they are not that much in this case, but I did not expect you to share the pessimistic attitude of the developer here.

Exploration Adventure Game 'Else Heart.Break()' Released DRM Free And On Steam For Linux

That's also a good point.

Quoting: GuestFor what it’s worth, "DRM-free and on Steam" does not say if the Steam version is DRM-free or not, nor if it’s released elsewhere than on Steam.
That's also a good point.
