But TIS-100 has the best ever tutorial in the form of an authentic looking scanned reference manual! What more could you possibly want!? :P

Quoting: GuestSpacechem has a terrible tutorial, and of course TIS-100 has none, so I’m gonna avoid anything made by Zachtronics until further notice.

I agree that the writing in Portal 2 is awful. I did mostly enjoy it as a puzzle game though, but it felt a lot more guided than the first game, and it got tedious long before I finished it. In my opinion, The Talos Principle is a much better game, and up there with Portal. The writing is superb and though the puzzles are as linear as those of Portal 2, the gameplay is spiced up by the often insanely clever overworld puzzles.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with a straight-up third-person puzzler though, and I think there's a good chance I might enjoy this mod.

Looks interesting to me. Especially since it has HDMI out and Bluetooth connectivity. That means it should be able to double as a Steam Link, right?

Oh, I didn't find that for some reason. (Probably misspelled it.) Thanks.

Yeah, a DRM free version would be great. There's a wishlist item for the game, but none for the movie short.

This game uses their in-house MMO engine, right, so maybe there's a higher chance we might see their other MMOs on Linux now too? Personally, I'm not all that interested in their games (except for The Longest Journey), but it's always nice to see a new developer targeting Linux.

Yes, BoUT2 was excellent! I also love Monochroma, but it does have some performance issues at times. I haven't played Elliot Quest again after they patched the dead end that cut my first run short, but I've put several hours into it, and what I played was awesome.
Dyscourse is a lot of fun too; especially the main game. I also really enjoyed The Fall and The Maker's Eden, but they both only have the first chapter available so far. And I've only put a couple of hours into Hot Tin Roof and Massive Chalice, but they both seem very good.
I didn't realize (or forgot) that Life of Pixel and Poltergeist was crowdfunded, but I enjoyed those too. Life of Pixel gets really frustrating (and not in a good way) in the later levels, and I benched that, but Poltergeist has a nice difficulty curve throughout.
So that's... 10 crowdfunded games I've played that was released in the past 12 months. I have to agree that crowdfunding seems to have had a pretty significant impact on Linux gaming.

Yeah, it would be great to see Castle in the Darkness on Linux. It's the only one of their games missing a Linux version now I think.
