I actually wrote a review of Dyscourse a while back. They released the promised free DLC last week, and I've played through it a couple of times, but haven't gotten around to writing about it yet.

Quoting: oldrocker99Another point-and-click adventure, new on Steam and 33% off in the sale, is Dyscourse, which promises many different endings and a boatload of replayability as players explore the "game space."
Here's Steam's webpage:http://store.steampowered.com/app/234920/.
Looks pretty unique and different, it's safe to say.

Fallout 4 And Steam Machine Release Dates A Coincidence? Yes, Probably.

I think it's a coincidence too, but... Bethesda is releasing their own DRM client, which probably isn't going to give them a whole lot of goodwill initially. Valve will probably want to allow content providers on SteamOS, like Netflix and HBO, to appeal to the console market. It doesn't seem completely absurd to me that Bethesda's client might be pre-installed on the official Steam Machines, since it could benefit both companies. Unlikely, yes, but highly unlikely...? Maybe not.

Yeah, I'm also very skeptical when Linux is mentioned almost as an aside. Doesn't give me a ton of faith in the developer's motivation in supporting our platform.

Teaser Video Released For Upcoming Metroidvania Platformer Corpses 'N Souls

I was thinking of the silhouette effect on one of the attacks and the light effects on several of them. The changing weather also reminded me of that, but that's probably not unique to SotN. I agree that the environment looks a bit messy and blends together too much, but it's an early build and hopefully they improve on that. The ARPG elements is what interests me the most about this game, but it remains to be seen how well it will work in practice.

Quoting: BTREI'm not sure where you're seeing the SoTN in this.

I'm completely obsessed with this game. Not very good at it though, but I'm making progress. ;) There's a neat interview with the developers on Gamasutra where they talk about what inspired them to create this game.

Thanks for the write-up. :) Looks interesting.
Fans of this genre might also be interested to know that Wizorb has been re-ported by flibitijibibo and is now available on Steam (I think it was originally ported with MonoGame for HIB6 a couple of years ago).
