President Of Blizzard Responds To The Linux Petition, Petition Owner Creates Childish Response

I don't know if it's because I have a EU account, but I can't even post in that forum thread. I did get Diablo III when it was released, but I've since stopped using Windows altogether and I'm done with Blizzard until they release anything for Linux. If I need a Diablo "fix" I can play Torchlight II instead.

I agree that talking down on developers/publishers for not supporting Linux is extremely unproductive though. No one is getting rich by making games for Linux (yet), and we definitely need all the goodwill we can get.

I don't play many action platformers but this one looks awesome.

Evoland, A Really Interesting Adventure RPG Now Working On Linux

I played Evoland when it was released for Windows a couple of years ago and I really liked it. As an RPG it's pretty bare-bones, but it has some nice puzzles and a neat boss fight, and I had a lot of fun finding hidden collectibles and trying to recognize all the references.

"... Windows PCs, Macs, and Linux PCs ..."! :)

Yeah, they've gotten a lot better at their naming conventions lately. If you read through the whole thing though, you'll find this at the bottom:

Just a minor slip-up though.

Adventure Platformer 'The Deer God' Out Of Early Access, It's Good But With Unreleased Potential

I think the basic idea is that herbivores are good and carnivores are bad, but not all animals fit that pattern. Maybe it's more that "cute" animals are good.

Shelter 2, An Open World Adventure Game Looks Like It Will Get A Day 1 Linux Release

I really like the sort of low-poly graphics look too. Not sure if it's my kind of game though. Would love to see them port Pid to Linux, as that's a pretty unique platformer with some devilish boss-fights.

I've been itching to check this game out for a while. Will probably wait until there's more content in it though.

QuoteThe time i'll shit a brick is when EA/Ubisoft release games on SteamOS. :)

Outland is out for Linux with the Ubisoft logo, that's a start.

Would love to see Grow Home made available for Linux too. And Beyond Good and Evil of course.

I think we ended up skipping it since it was covered in a separate article by BTRE.

The Funding Crowd 42

Here's one that slipped by me that looks interesting but seems very unlikely to get funded at this point: Sneaky Ninja, a stealth/action platformer, inspired by games like Mario and Mark of the Ninja (and supposedly Thief and Dishonoured, though I don't see any similarities there). It has already been greenlit on Steam, but they're less than half of the way to their $10K goal on Kickstarter with a little over a week to go.
