Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Confirmed For Linux

Well, the Sierra brand is also owned by Activision and both of these games were mentioned in the press release from Activision in August where they announced that they were giving Sierra a rebirth as an indie developer. The developer of the new King's Quest is The Odd Gentlemen, the developer of the excellent The Misadventures of P. B. Winterbottom and the probably not very good Wayward Manor. Neither of those games are available for Linux, so it's likely they'll need someone to help them out with the Linux version.

Quoting: DonkeyLooking at the Sierra home page, another Aspyr related game might be King's Quest. Could it be that Sierra is a Linux friendly publisher? "Looking forward to serve bad porridge to evil wizards".

Daedalic Releases Goodbye Deponia On Linux

The Deponia games are prime examples of great puzzle design in modern games, though I'm not too fond of the stories. The end felt a whole lot more satisfying than that of The Whispered World though. Will definitely give The Dark Eye games a shot when they're ported to Linux.
I didn't realize Munin was published by Daedalic until you pointed it out. I picked that one up in a sale because I thought it looked like a fairly interesting puzzle platformer. I only played a bit of it and found it a bit tedious, but I'll probably give it another shot once I've cleared some more games off my backlog.

Arcen Games has put up a new blog post elaborating on the no units concept since a lot of people took that to mean that the game won't have combat.

Good suggestions, DrMcCoy. :) We talked about covering That Dragon, Cancer for this instalment but decided to postpone it since it has three weeks left and is definitely going to make it.

I was going to say we covered that one in TFC #38, but yeah, it never actually made it off the drawing board.
EDIT: I suck at editing my own comments. Sorry about the double post.

Quoting: JuliusThis one seems cool too and has reached their rather unambitious goal several time over already:

It doesn't look too good for Override either at the moment, but there have been some amazing turnarounds on Kickstarter lately, so I'm hopeful.
Oh, and it's Weather Zen. :P

Quoting: tmtvlI doubt Weather Monk's gonna make its target. It's kinda unfortunate, but that's life.

Goofy Arena Shooter 'Square Heroes' Released For Linux

I haven't played Teeworlds, but there's no platforming or rope swinging mechanic in Square Heroes. You instead just steer your player character in whatever direction you want to go, since you have a jetpack that compensates for any force of gravity pulling on your character. Teeworlds also looks crazy fast-paced, judging by the video on their site.
Yeah, beat you to it. :P
