Costume Quest 2 Out Today, Well In Time For Halloween

Quoting: CheesenessBy the way, there've been a couple of reports of people having problems with audio not working. The devs are on it, but in the meantime, launching the game outside of Steam seems to help.

And as user buckysrevenge also noted on the Double Fine forums setting launch options to
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=Linux/Bin/lib %command%
also works if you use PulseAudio.

That looks pretty neat. I haven't really played an RTS since the C&C classics and the good AoE games, but this one actually looks like one I might enjoy.

Thanks for sharing. :)

Quoting: HamishI will try and get more involved again with editing and approving submissions since that should hopefully be a growth area

I think this would help a great deal since it would make it much easier for users with varying writing experience to get involved, while still maintaining a consistent quality in writing on the site.

Quoting: EKRboiEDIT* on a side note... where are people finding out about linux games? I come here for that info, and if I'm possibly going to try and contribute to the site here, I'm going to need to expand where I find things.. since it's obviously too late if it's already here ;)

I use Steam Greenlight to find out about Kickstarters and follow a bunch of developers whose work I'm interested in on Twitter to hear about upcoming games.

Quoting: TealI ran into an article on the Kickstarter somewhere else, checked it out, CTRL+F found Linux on the page, there we go, a game. That's it, literally

Annoyingly Ctrl+F usually doesn't work though, since most campaigns only list platforms as images. :-/

I don't have a ton of available time either but I'll do my best to write at least an article or two per week. I have one coming up in a couple of days but it's admittedly a bit niche. This site and its community are too good to die.

Hadn't heard of this game before, so thanks for covering it. It doesn't really look like my cup of tea either, but I'll give the demo a try.

Dreamfall Chapters Adventure Game Release Date Announced In New Video

I backed the Kickstarter campaign and knew they'd promised not to include those kinds of gameplay elements. I didn't know it was that scene in particular people had issues with though. I guess I'm not alone in giving up on the game there then.

Still playing Super Win the Game but I hope to get through it before Costume Quest 2 releases next week. I'm at the end of the game but I'm a bit stuck and I'm also missing 14 gems.

I also started playing chapter 2 of Book of Unwritten Tales 2 and like it so far.
