Mmmm... Let's see what I can come up with that... The last quest for Act 1 in The Witcher 3 is "Calm before the Storm". "It's just a shot away" from when things starts to get interresting. LoL!
Dreamer! Nothing but a dreamer! :)
Edit:
Just found that:

Quoting: qptain NemoOk, so apparently "it's just a shot away" is a line from Rolling Stones's song Gimme Shelter. The lyrics contain the line "Oh, a storm is threat'ning"

Really late on this one...
This:
https://www.amazon.com/illusion-grandeur-legend-invisible-russian/dp/B003V0N7CO
Lead me to this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_the_Invisible_City_of_Kitezh_and_the_Maiden_Fevroniya
Isn't it similar to what happens with Columbia? Add to this the picture that looks a lot like Father Comstock...
Isn't it giving more weight to the possibility of Bioshock Remastered?

It's time to bug Feral Interactive about future port requests once again

The Witcher 3. It's probably the best RPG ever. What more to say?! Linux gaming badly needs it. I don't care if they have to remove some features like HairWorks stuff. It would be sad, but it's not the main reason to play the game. It's awesome anyway.

Edit: Typo. HairFX to HairWorks.

Realistic racing game 'DRAG' coming to Linux soon, built on Linux and it looks astonishing

Oh... Do you smell it? Windows vs Linux (true native) benchmark incoming! :)

Quoting: GuestQuoting: ThorstenFolkersThis is good news!Quoting: GuestConsidering the insane prices of GPUs right now, I hope the devs have a clear target market in mind, otherwise there might be only a handful of PC customers for this.
We tested on Intel Core i5 and NVIDIA GTX 660 with maximum graphics settings as shown on the screenshots the game runs around 60fps at 1920x1080 resolution.
We will try to get some numbers on GTX 750 Ti aswell.

I have A10-7800/660SC in my desktop and i5-3570/1070Ti SC in my Steambox.
1080p@60 is definitely the sweet spot, especially the 60 fps. Burnout 2, 3 and Revenge on the PS2 are still my gold standard for racing games. (Something got lost in Paradise. <-- Haha!)
Glad you are focusing on the CPU threading. That really is what separates the men from the boys with PC games. Looking back, Indianapolis 500 was, graphically, no better than Mario in many respects, but what you could do with those graphics was worlds apart!

Insta-buy for me! I'm hyped for this game!
Looking at the car modelling... Copper wire in the wheels? Dust proof electric vehicule? Wow! :P
Seriously I looked at the crash gif and I'm really impressed by the way each wheels are reacting. The diag front left + right rear locks while the rear left spins... Not many games put that much effort in these kinds of details.
Awesome work!
Quoting: pete910Am also waiting for someone to comment on the motor stator(windings) in the wheels that have no real purpose. :P

Is Valve involved? It feels like Valve time... Remember Steam Machines / Steam Controller delays? Lol!

Releasing hardware is just hard. Tons of things can go wrong and if they aren't releasing it and not telling what's going on - you can suspect they have some serious setbacks.

Maybe, but still, help is available elsewhere. I'm not going to buy this game until it's fixed. Not at this premium price.

Quoting: LeopardQuoting: MohandevirIt's probably been proposed many times already, but why not contact Icculus, Timothee Besset or other porters to help them, if they are unable to do it themselves?!
Icculus is ( no offense , he is a great guy ) just helping small indie 2d games now.
So when he was saying " I don't need money , i just want to help games come to Linux " , he was obviously talking about small games ; alas people just kept dreaming 3d games and slightly bigger games than End Is Nigh.

I was hoping for a last minute & new brilliant idea that forced them to reconsider... You are breaking my illusions Liam! ;)
Thanks for the input.
