Quoting: pleasereadthemanualGod, I hope this is the panacea I've been hoping it will be.

Quoting: MohandevirDoes that mean that Gamescope will run on Nvidia GPU?
It has for a long time.

It runs with Gamescope-Bazzite or ChimeraOS? Meaning I could build a Steam Machine based on Nvidia GPU? Bazzite doesn't recommend it yet.

Ubisoft scam... For my part this game does not exist, even if it ran A1 on Steam Deck.

Valve faces a £656 million lawsuit in the UK for 'overcharging 14 million PC gamers'

If Steam was the most expensive solution, when comparing prices with Nintendo, Playstation and Xbox stores, where Valve has absolutely no control, I'd be the first to say that they have a case, but prices are similar. Worst, Valve is probably the cheapest and they are all hardware manufacturers.

What I really do find amusing it's seeing the multiplication of Windoze handheld cannibalizing among themselves for a teeny-weeny market share. In the end, it might all lead them to drop the market because of insufficient sales numbers.

None of them come close to the unique and optimized experience that the Steam Deck offers. That's probably the main reason why these handhelds can't close the gap, in terms of sales. This and the price that doesn't make sense.

Valve really nailed it, this time.

Quoting: StalePopcornMaybe comments should be disabled since a pattern is already present, but Kaspersky are not doing operating from a country directly or indirectly involved in mass genocide, if we're going to be throwing rocks, remember that we're in a glass house.

Yeah, but no. I'm not going to install Kaspersky on my system because of US foreign politics (if that is what you were referring to). For my part, it's off topic. Both are bad. One doesn't nullify the other.

Bluetooth battery charge... I don't know if it was the intention, but nice addition for external controllers. For Steam Controllers 2, maybe?

Quoting: MohandevirAnti-cheat should be supported on the Steam Deck, but on the other hand, most of these games are unfit for the handheld form factor and as proof of that, it doesn't seem to impact the Steam Deck sales. It is sad for Linux desktops, though.

Anti-cheat is supported on the Steam Deck but many game companies want to use their tools that are kernel based, which doesn't work on Linux. Steam Deck support EAC and BattlEye anti-cheat software but not every game company uses it though.

I already know this. I wasn't into the details of how it was or should be supported. They should enable ac proton support. That's what I meant. Sorry if it wasn't clear enough.
