Is a fun but very hard platformer. Despite being early access it runs well on Linux and has sufficient content.

Playing it on my GPDwin1 handheld :)

Is that actually fun to play with a mouse?

It looks very touchscreen stylus input oriented. I would guess this developed out of a children's "learn how to write Hiragana" edutainment game.

Hmm, but this version is closed-source again, or where did they hide the source code?

Quoting: GuestI sometimes check my driver, and it is still at the same number. Then I read news like this and think: 'how does this apply to me? There is nothing new out'. So...what am I missing here? :)

Depends on your distribution when that reaches you. On Ubuntu you can add a PPA with newer drivers or alternatively install a rolling distribution like Manjaro that gets updated drivers more often.

But it's all a trade off between stability and too many updates ;)

This uses the Darkplaces Engine. Might be worth a try if the Linux binary works. If not they are legally required (GPL) to give you the source code of their modifications so that you can compile your own Linux version.

Anyone else has strange sound issues? On my Solus installation sounds are kind of muted and often don't play as if there was a problem with limited simultaneous samples or something like that. Just me being stupid :(

Also I really dislike that the default parkour button is "q" instead "left-shift".

I think that screenshot (and the video on the Steam page) is still from the old version. On their forums they have some newer screenshots. I guess it will not look totally different (as playermodels for example are unchanged), but it does seem to look better than in that screenshot now.

Anyone able to guess if the mobile version will be strong enough for VR with Valve Index? I am not really into AMD's GPUs, so a bit hard to guess for me.
