It's nice that they improve the graphics, but it would be great if they could also innovate on gameplay or at least make modding a bit more easy (last time I checked you basically had to fork the engine for more extensive gameplay modifications).

A pity really, as that would probably lessen the impact of using Proton for most games.

Anyone got an idea how to turn on old school keyboard mode or at least an approximation of it with a gamepad?

It has controller support and the menu says auto-aim enabled, but playing with a regular gamepad having to mangle a mouse like look with the right thumbstick is no fun at all.

These games work great... 0 hassle couch multiplayer with Smartphones and low system requirements on the Linux side of things (I run it on a low power ATOM chip). Fully recommended if you have some friends over for a warm up party or so.
