Anyone managed to install the 32bit version via PlayOnLinux? It works for 64bit, but for 32bit it complaints that the file could not be found, even though it shows up in the selection just fine.

So this arena mode is DOTA like? I always thought that would have been the killer feature on release day :)

Edit: https://youtu.be/M478OmsuWTQ
hmm doesn't look very DOTA like after all...

Uebergame, a free and open source shooter has a new release

Should be noted that this is a one-man project build on top of the open-source Torque3D engine ( torque3d.org ).

It's a pretty interesting start of a FOSS game, and once all the new rendering features for Torque3D 4.0 are implemented, it should also look quite a lot better.

For those wondering about fullscreen and getting rid of the mouse offset:
Real fullscreen works, but you have to hit the little arrow left to the actual button that says "windowed". It gives you three options: windowed, windowed fullscreen and fullscreen. The last gets rid of the mouse offset in the menues.

Nice game so far... and given the good graphics, not that demanding either.

Hmm, procedurally generated maps? Might sound good on paper, but I am a bit sceptically if it actually plays well in PvP.

Sounds awesome indeed, but their last game was quite medicore... I guess it would be good to have it funded, but I am not sure if I want to invest in it personally.

I hope they also worked on Xonotic compatibility that was discussed a long while ago. I think the modding improvements point that way, but I am not sure if the QuakeC interpreter made it in yet.

Some thoughts on the Shadowrun series

Since it includes a pretty good mission editor it seems, any recommendations for additional fan made content?

Also, how is the Android version input wise? Maybe I'll play some fan made content on the go instead

Prison Architect broke the Geneva Conventions for the use of a red cross

Quoting: oxymoreThis isn't about copyright. The red cross symbol is limited in the number of people who are allowed to use it because it is basically a "Don't shoot me" sign. It is a war crime to target people wearing the symbol. As a consequence, they are also strict about misuse of the symbol, as otherwise everybody would use it which would completely undermine the proper use.

This. One might think it's all fun and games, but the Geneva convention is one of the few international treaties that more or less anyone with a minimal bit of common sense left agrees is a good idea.

Besides, if it was the coca-cola logo no-one would think twice about it, just because there is a humanitarian aid organization behind it it is somehow different?

Pretty cool, although no Vulkan support yet is a bit of a letdown.

I hope they will also add native support for Daydream VR and WebVR soon.
