Not sure what you're getting at with that comment, Is it a FYI for whats been updated ?
Tell you what has broke though within the last month is dolphin seeing SMB shares. No clue what's caused it.
I was hoping the update to KDE 20.x would fix it but it hasn't for me.
Yes I did try dropping the minimum protocol required to no avail .

isnt it normal for a rolling release? a 400MB download every 2 weeks.. 200MB are kernel and mesa
No it's not, Normally just some incremental updates. Only when a major release like KDE/Mesa ect updates do you get a largish update.
Even that big update was done in less than two minutes.
https://forum.manjaro.org/c/announcements/stable-updates/60
there are so many kernel updates. download 100MB... install 300
then mesa, firefox, chrome from AUR, office, DE, etc

I had this problem when I wanted to raid my 1Tb NVME drives on AMDs x570 chipset early last year, None would work correctly, gave up and left how it was. OS on one drive and other was mounted as steam folder.

Quoting: slaapliedjeThis is probably what I would be running right now on my Thinkpad P52, except the installer doesn't work with RAID0 installs (unless they fixed that in this version?)

Lenovo are to start shipping Fedora Linux as an option on their ThinkPad laptops

It would be nice if all vendors offered all their ranges of laptops without windows if required.
Same could be said for Manjaro and the like.
Indeed, It's why I chose an Arch based distro tbh.
I've not tried Fedora in a long while, I'm originally a RPM guy myself. Stemming from the Mandrake era back in the day :O

Quoting: ShmerlFinally! Until now they even refused to refund the Windows tax. That's a refreshing change. Looking forward for them doing it for all Thinkpads. I'm only buying them with Ryzens these days.

Quoting: TheSHEEEPWhy Fedora, though?
I mean, nothing against Fedora, but wouldn't Ubuntu generally result in a better experience for users due to more widespread support of pretty much anything?
There's a ton of stuff readily available for Ubuntu (or rather, as .deb) which is not impossible to get on Fedora but you have to jump through some hoops.
Same could be said for Manjaro and the like.
Quoting: tmtvlBut to get anything on Ubuntu you need to add a bunch of PPA's, which is less convenient than using RPM Fusion on Fedora.

Three things !
I didn't attack it
Second, I didn't make the original comment
Finally, No point in trying to defend by stating it's "the best desktop" , then state whilst using it on a tablet
Some like it , others don't , Get over it.

Gnome
Why do you attack against Gnome with such passion? So many new Linux users love it, and in my experience it is the best Linux desktop for tablet.
This Gnome-bashing does no service to Linux in all and should just stop :O
