Used livestreamer before, just cant be bothered now, no reason for flash. Youtube works fine without flash. Not tried their streaming service though so don't know if that works or not

Quoting: mirodamn i was just like one hour long starring at that "flash plugin required" message, thinking that you are about to start

That's the reason I don't bother with twitch/streams, Kinda ironic that Linux people use twitch

Ubuntu 16.04 dropping the AMD Catalyst/fglrx driver

Quoting: KimyrielleBoth AMD but also NVidia have to get their act together eventually and release something that installs with one click, you know...like in Windows.

You mean like you can with the AMD driver now

Had an AMD card since the 5870 days, I either go to the repo and install from there or go to AMD site , double click, enter root pass then install.
Ok I admit the 4xx kernel bugged on the 15.11s but was fixed with the 15.12's iirc. Mageia don't tend to jump straight onto the latest kernel though.

Know idea if you still have to kill X server for the nv driver to install.

Nvidia release another new Vulkan beta driver with Linux support

I think SLI/Xfire is down to the devs to implement. The drivers play a much smaller roll with Vulkan/DX12 as the drivers are a "thin" layer between app and hardware .

I may be totally wrong though....

Just bought this, I quite like it though it does take a bit of learning I guess. Only problem/Gripe is the font is small at 1440p, makes reading the menus a bit troublesome.

It's a mishmash of descent and forsaken to me. (Was a big Forsaken fan back in the day)
