Vulkan Looks Impressive Against OpenGL In A New Intel Demo

Makes you wonder if the old hex core AMD chips will start to shine, I know using Mantle with BF4 with a 1090t did just as well as what my new 4790k does.

Must admit, It's all talk of DX12 atm. I thought Vulkan had a chance to be ready before DX12 but guess not.

Update for me on a 290x with 15.7's

wont let me set to high as it stops at the end of fighting the young lad

even though it works fine.

1440p on high i'm averaging 50's Only done a short stint to the first mission/story . seems stable after i knocked the settings down.

Average on the benchmark setting was 31. Not too bad going on some others I suppose

Any reason why it closes if the settings are to high?
Vid ram maybe?

Will see what its like on mageia 5 with a 290x. :S:

They have done a good job with the 15.5's and 7's so I have confidence ..
