i like how they push linux but the idea of steam within gnu/linux is perverting the actual idea of free software. what we trade here is freedom for convenience and the sole reason i go along with it is that i hope when steam dies off one day (and it will, all does eventually) it will have pushed linux a little. whenever i can i buy my games in DRM free fashion and dodge steam like the plague. i like what they do to push the developement of linux but still i see it as a trade with the devil.

Then support GOG's Linux efforts with all your might. I certainly want to, but GOG is taking its sweet time with introducing Linux games.

Going by Steam, there are approximately 795 000 Linux users to cater to. Mind, those are just the ones using Steam.

I am excited for this release! Will definitely purchase this at full price as a "Thank you" because The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings apologists insist that bringing such old games to Linux natively is not worth the effort.

I absolutely love Borderlands so getting Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The PreSequel would be amazing! If Borderlands made it too, I would buy it again!

GOG does not even have the Mac OS client up yet. I doubt it, but perhaps GOG is waiting for the Linux client to release first so that it can upload both clients at once.

Just A Friendly Reminder: Don't Buy A Game Until It Is Officially On Linux. This seems to apply here quite a bit considering the situation with Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition.

I could not get into League of Legends. Tried DOTA2 1 year later and now have nearly 800 hours clocked in. With 1 MOBA taking up so much time, I highly doubt I will try another.
